The staff are friendly (one even played the piano while I was reading in the main room), and the grounds and building are extraordinary, beautiful, and of a bygone era. "The property is very cute and cozy as well as clean. We loved the cats that greet you upon arrival. The only minor complaint is that you have to ask for ice at the front desk, which is closed overnight and was not open when we departed, but the staff was lovely when we checked in the night before and we had a great stay."
