“Disaster from start to finish! Checked in around midnight with my dog and a family member's 2 dogs. I told the front desk clerk the 2 were leaving - their owner was meeting me to get them. While unloading my vehicle, the clerk and some man I'd never seen comes beating on my door saying I needed to come to the office. They then accused me of lying about the dogs - keep in mind I had JUST told them. When I turned to get my purse and room key to go to the office, there was a BUG crawling……

“I truly enjoyed my stay. The location was perfect. It was close to the Mall and the Civic Center. I only stayed one night but the staff really made an impression on me. The front desk clerk, Chautona McZeal was Awesome! She was very kind and helpful. You would never guess that it was her 1st day on the job. My room was prepared by Mattie and she did a great job. She even met me in the parking lot to make sure that everything was OK with the room. Excellent Customer Service!”

“No pool, and the breakfast...well, the orange and apple juices were both warm, there was cereal no milk. And, there were only little honey buns, nothing else!! The coffee was ok but there was no regular sugar and no creamer. I was very disappointed 😞 My door to my room had to be slammed shut and pulled hard if you're trying to get out of the room. Bed was comfortable. The ice machine.....oh my, it smelled awful, couldn't use it for drinks, had to go to the store just for ice.”

“If I could show pictures Howard Johnson on Broad in Lake Charles La was so filthy! We were late getting in town had a family emergency and exhausted. Between the drugs being felt in parking lot and apparent Prostitute going on it was scary. We prayed for our safety and declared to never go back. Public hair ans utter filthy in bathroom, carpet was disgusting burn holes in the bedding rusty refrigerator NO coffee pot as stated, also someone renting a room for a few hours upon our checkout.
