A good, large room in an excellent location of Reggio Emilia right next to the Cathedral. At this price its a great option. Good breakfast also.

Great staff and great restaurant. Lost an item there and they searched for it after the fact and mailed it to us. Would definitely stay again

Great location, excellent staff

Albergo Delle Notarie is a fine choice to stay in Reggio Emillia. The location can not be better - on a quiet, narrow street in the old down, steps away from charming piazzas, shops and cafes, yet fairly easy to get out to the highway to explore the surrounding region. Staff was very pleasant and helpful, and service at the restaurant was five stars. We received an upgrade after disliking our original room that looked a bit like a dungeon - hence the four-star rating for the rooms. The upgraded room on the top floor was luxurious and large. Breakfast was fairly typical of Italy - modest but more than adequate selection of boiled eggs, cheese, ham, pastries, yoghurt and cereal. Good coffee and tea made to order. The restaurant is also open at night and is not bad, but I would recommend exploring the city restaurants instead (La Spagetteria, Pizzeria Piedi Grotta). Hotel also has a small gym.
