Paying on Expedia in full didn’t expect to be extorted $100 when first walking up to front desk. The room smelled so bad I had to leave a day early. Would never recommend this place.

Staff that was around was really rude when kids were playing with pool toys that we bought and brought for them to play with. Pool person bitched and said that they weren’t allowed to play with their pool toys yet no where did it stat that the kids weren’t allowed to play with toys. Was really frustrating for not only us but the children as well

I am sorry that I have to disagree with you on this. There are signs in several places including right at the Tiki Hut that clearly state no pool toys allowed, only PFD and life jackets. My staff were just enforcing the posted rule.G. Weir

Was booted from my place due to a burst pipe. Was a last minute booking. Very reasonable price, friendly staff. Dated hotel but good value for the price. Hot-tub and pool area was quiet.

Ok so I’m going to start off will all the positive parts of the stay. The room was clean and updated and the beds are new, the restaurant had excellent food and the pool was so nice and warm to swim in and they cleaned the pool regularly to make sure the water was as it should be which is very nice. Dislikes were the weird pool rules where you can’t even have a plastic water bottle on the pool deck. They randomly shut the pool down without notice, the pool hours are very strange as well. Also the pool area is starting to get quite worn out and needs to be renovated. The lighting in the pool area is terrible at night. Although there are a few things I disliked I would still come back because the rooms were clean and the pool water was one of the warmest I have been too. I also understand dealing with the public is hard and you have to have rules but there seemed to be signs everywhere of all the things you can’t do. That will drive some people away and mostly the good ones. I found it frustrating. Anyways it is a nice hotel to stay at, just wanted to list the things we didn’t like as well as the likes.

Great time at the pool,relaxing evening with the lights, water was great temperature, everyone enjoyed it, breakfast was excellent and good priced. It is very dated, but we loved it!

This was the most horrendous hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Would not recommend at all. It’s filthy for starters, weird banging noises all night. I would have been better off sleeping in my car. Never again will I stay here

I don’t like that the pool doesn’t open till 9 am. Tried to swim tonight but pool full of kids taking swimming lessons and lots of kids screaming. Why can’t the pool open sometime from 6am- to 9 am just for adults.

Thanks for the review. As the pool area is directly outside of 77 interior rooms we must have 0 noise in the pool area until 9am. A good nights sleep is a major part of what a rented room is used for.G. Weir

We enjoyed our stay at the Seven Oaks hotel - rooms were clean and beds comfortable. We were however concerned about the railings up on the waterslide as my husband noted that the railings are very rusted and just painted over and he felt that these are a safety issue - and need to repaired before there is an accident. Just a safety thought. Otherwise our kids enjoyed the pool. (Not the hot tub - it was pretty strange looking and overcrowded, never a good idea!! lol)

Staff was polite and helpful. When we arrived, we were able to check in 2 hrs early and when there was work being done in our room, a new room was quickly assigned to us. Beds are very comfortable and rooms are clean.
