In need of help....

Cons: Carpet; Smelly former smoking rooms; 3rd floor stinks!
This hotel had smoking rooms until this year "2016". So most of the rooms on the 3rd floor and the hall of the 3rd floor stink of smoke. This Hotel needs to do a major overhaul on the 3rd floor, and get rid of that horrible stink! Pillows were horrible, need a selection of pillows or at least a firm pillow. This hotel seems to be a bit run down, in need of some remodeling; the carpet needs to be changed in the whole hotel. Overall, in need of help.

Rest assured that these issues will be looked into. Only half the floor was smoking in the past and now it is entirely non-smoking. All rooms have had the carpet shampooed and cleaned from top to bottom. We do offer Firm and Soft pillows in all of our rooms. We value your comments and welcome the opportunity to serve you again. Very Nice Hotel

Pros: Clean with comfortable beds and the staff was wonderful.
Location: We were in Reidsville to attend a funeral so did not really explore the area.
Check in was pleasant. Our room was fresh and clean. The beds were very comfortable with clean sheets. The complementary breakfast was good with a variety of items to choose from. Staff was pleasant and very helpful when we looking for a good local place to eat late.

Skeptical, but very impressed

When I booked this hotel, it was the only thing relatively close to where I was traveling and the only rooms remaining were smoking. I was very skeptical because it is a 2 star rated hotel and I was in a smoking room. However, I was very impressed on arrival. Everything was very clean and the room was not what I expected for smoking. There was very little remnants of smoking. I would definitely recommend.

Pros: Room was clean.
Cons: The walls between rooms a razor thin as we could hear folks cough. Stop 11 - 2:00am parties
Location: Reidsville, NC
We checked in fine. Room was clean. 1st floor suite. Long drive so went to sleep at 8:00pm. From 1130pm - 2:00am the hotel turned into a nightclub with folks running up and down hallways. Partying outside...etc.. Hotel Mgt must have had their earplugs in. Bad experience

Mike, We would like to apologize to you that your sleep was disturbed by the wedding party that was also staying in the hotel. We did our best to keep them quiet and contained. Maybe best in town, but leaves a lot to be desired

Really didn't think "Smoking Rooms" still existed, wrong! I missed that when I reserved and had to stay 2 nights in a sold out hotel until a non-smoking room became available. Evidently the whole 3rd floor is Smoking and smelled like an ash tray. Then got moved to 2nd floor. Carpet stench was so strong going down the hall, I had to hold my breath to get to my room. Smelled like the whole carpet had been sprayed by tom cat pee. The room was on the highway side and very noisy with 18 wheelers roaring all night, using their jake brakes coming off the exit, sounded like they were coming through the walls. May have slept 2 hours each night of a 4 night stay. Will commute from Greensboro next time I work in Reidsville.

Less than half of our 3rd floor has smoking rooms on it and soon will be 100% non-smoking by sometime in 2016. We are looking forward to that transition. I'm not sure of what you smelled on 2nd floor as we do not allow pets at all. Our carpets in the entire hotel are cleaned on a regular schedule and actually are being cleaned today. Elon Class of 2016

Location: Elon University is a easy drive along a rural highway from the Reidsville Holiday Inn Express. No traffic, no speed-trap, and lovely scenery.
We tried to book rooms for my wife and I and her parents in early June 2015 for my daughter's graduation from Elon University. Nothing was available; unless you want to stay in a hotel that has a number in its name. We found these rooms in July through Expedia...jackpot! The Reidsville Holiday Inn Express was a lifesaver. Aside from the twenty-five minute drive down NC-87 to Elon's campus it was perfect. Our two side-by-side rooms with two queen beds each were clean, spacious, well equipped, and quiet. The staff was always friendly, and willing to help us with our questions. The breakfast was more homestyle than motel fare. The food was fresh, hot, and delicious. Coffee was available 24/7. The highlight of the weekend was watching my daughter walk across that stage to earn her diploma. But, Holiday Inn Express made the down-time a pleasant experience. Money well spent!
