Decent Hotel

Posted Nov 10, 2017
Pros: The staff were very friendly.
Cons: The Fire Escapes were rusty, with pools of water on the upper landings. There could be a mini bus service up and down the hill into Reigate Town.
Location: Reigate is a pleasant, middle class Surrey town. Expensive shops, a few decent pubs.
The Reigate Manor Hotel is "adequate" in almost every way. The food was so-so at best.

Reigate in October

Pros: Staff were helpful.
Cons: Hotel and rooms are dated and showing signs of age. Refurb would be appropriate.
Location: On the hill leading to/from Reigate and M25 so at times main road can be busy and congested with some noise. Reigate is a pretty town and there is ple
Hotel is quite noisy as it is adjacent a main road and a petrol station/garage. Staff are friendly and helpful and hotel is busy with functions. Rooms and overall hotel are dated and showing signs of age.

Convenient for our purpose

Posted Oct 18, 2017
Not amused by fire alarm set off at about 11.30pm by sparkling candles at a birthday party. Great assistance from the night duty manager after I fell while trying to leave our room in response to the alarm and could not get up due to knee problems. The bar snacks were very tasty.

Buy new beds!!

Posted Sep 8, 2017
Pros: Close proximity to Reigate.
Cons: Everything, rooms, beds etc etc
Did not have our booking even though I showed them the confirmation email from Expedia. Beds were terrible with every spring stabbing you all night! Room very dated and in need of a refurbishment. Shower was great but a huge step out of the bath due to the floor being 12 inches lower than the bath!

Clean and tidy, friendly staff - only slight issue was road noise with the window open, and as a hot night and no arcon it did need to be open, so ask for room facing the other way. Plus point, pub close by for real ales.

Hotel didn't feel exactly clean. It is really tired and needs a revamp.

Very comfortable and convenient for the airport. An extra hour in the room to accommodate for late flight departure was no problem and not charged. Certainly stay again.

Very nice clean convenient hotel in Reigate, reasonably priced with a very good breakfast and excellent service. Breakfast was 10 GBP extra but well worth it.
