Tired hotel with a hole in the floor in our room

Pros: The size of the room
Cons: Refurbishing,a hanging rail for clothes and repairing the whole in the floor and proper cleaning of the room we had rubbish left for three days!!
Location: Handy to Epsom and the freeway ,awesome English village near bye
Arrived to find after paying and reserving their top room eight months previously to be told we had been down graded As they had booked in a wedding party ! So they gave us breakfast as compensation room was fairly spacious but no fridge and no wardrobe with hanging space for 3 hangers!!!prably the most dissapointing hotel I have stayed in a big tick of approval for a waiter called Mancino who was a god send.

Cons: Reception staff, plus only one person doing breakfast service. He was doing his best but he struggled with taking orders, laying tables, clearing tabl
Room was a good size and clean. Reception staff come across as rude and aggressive, with the openeing line claiming they hadn't got a booking and that I must have booked into a hotel down the road, I wish I had. When they did look they found the booking and confirmed I had pre-paid. When I checked out they asked for payment again, which when challenged they agreed it had alreday been paid. The Night Porter was just as rude to a newly married couple checking in just before us, he couldn't even be bothered to get out of his seat and say hello to them.I would never stay here again mainly because of reception staff, they need some much need customer service training.

Small, dirty room that I am not even convinced had been made up. Location is very poor, with Reigate proper 2.2miles (with hills) away.

Reception couldn't find our booking from Hotels.com, tried to make us pay again until I dug out bank statement. Insist breakfast was not included when it was. Won't be coming back.
