“This is an older hotel, clean and mostly in good repair. The rooms are large, and have full-sized refrigerators...a welcome change from the "mini refrigerators" that cannot hold a 12 pack. Some rooms have a nice view of a lake, there is a dock and benches to sit and watch the view. Staff is on site and friendly; it seems to be family-owned...we liked the chance to help local people. Lots of parking and close to anything one might need. We would not hesitate to stay there again.”

“No air conditioning, no ice maker, very loud location, horrible communication to try and call to verify booking. Checking in you need to go to another building to get your key. Dirty tub. Bed was ok, pillows horrible - bring your own. Don’t stay there with kids, they won’t sleep well.”

“Room was dirty with crumbs all over the carpet. Not even vacuumed on our check in. Pretty worn out towels. Over all this is not a clean hotel. Bed was so lumpy and uncomfortable in their higher priced rooms! Can’t imagine how the regular rooms are presented. Now I know, wont go back to this place.”

“The location is excellent & it was super quiet! The AC is a wall unit so it is also super quiet! The bed was comfy & for a no frills motel & the least expensive in Grand Rapids, I would stay there again for sure. They do accept dogs for an extra $25. Mohamed has an ice maker in the lobby & the refrigerator gets super cold.”
