Amazong Hotel, rooms were very clen very good breakfast and the best was the their service . The personal at reception were grate help when we had problem with our car. Than you vey much. I recomend this Hotel very strongly.

Great for business trips
Outside the city centre, but only a 15 min walk to shops and restaurants. The hotel is clean and staff very kind. Nothing bad to say about my stay, anytime again.

A worthwhile stay off the Autobahn A1
Nice rooms, good size of bath and work area, rooms to the entrance side are very calm at night. Great restaurant with very friendly service and small but delicious selections on the menu. I would come back if I have an opportunity ...

Clean and convienently located to hiking areas
The hotel was fine in general, but you should be aware that it is located in a light industrial area with a McDonalds right next to it that is a bit of a teenager hangout on weekend evenings. Therefore it can be noisy. Overall, it was a good place to stay and we would stay there again.

Good German Hotel in Remscheid
An entirely pleasant business stay with no problems. Decent restaurant that opens until 10:00 pm for all the late arrivals or if you are seeking a late snack.

A terrible experience
Terrible hotel. I booked a room with a double bed and was given 2 single beds. I stayed for 6 days and for three of those days the room was not made up.The carpet was eventually hoovered on the day before I left, The staff on reception were rude and uncaring.When I reported that my room had not been made up, on the first occasion, the receptionist said "So?". She could not have cared less about the guests! I asked if the room would be cleaned the following morning, and her answer was "I don't know". The third day I arrived back at the hotel, to find I was locked out of the room, and had to go back to reception, where I was reviewed on three computers, before having my key reissued. When in the shower, on my third morning, I found my full shower gel had been removed. I reported it to reception, but it was not replaced until day before leaving. The whole experience was a daily mis-management of some sort. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I am returning to Remscheid on a regular basis, but I shall not be staying in this hotel again!!

1st time good not great
The room was small, I couldn't get in the chair at the desk it was so close to the side if the bed. Beds are clean but seemed very low to the floor made getting in and out uncomfortable. The bar is great and the breakfast is quite good but expensive.

If you are arriving late make sure you've eaten or its MCD's next door only. Did not serve food late. Other than that pretty good.

So so business hotel. Charged parking. Receptionist told us breakfast were included. We were billed euro 32 for two simple breakfast. There was a McDonald next door. Off autobahn, but in residential / industrial area. Be aware of the low ball price. No service.

When Medica is in Düsseldorf this was my option
I only chose this hotel because Medica made hotel stays near Düsseldorf uncomfortably expensive. Factoring in the high cost of taxi fares makes me think this wasn't really that good of a deal. Some of the rooms are close to the main lobby area which is open to a lot of noise below. The beds were not terribly comfortable and the wifi was strong enough but not fast. The restaurant onsite was good and they had a fantastic beef/pork in mushroom wine sauce that was accompanied by really good gluten free bread.

A standard business hotel
In the middle of nowhere, this hotel is a nightmare if you are planning to use public transportation. The best facility of the hotel is the McDonalds next door.

Pleasant helpful staff. Hotel is within 750m of the autobahn easy to locate. Secure parking on site - additional cost. Restuarant on site serving evening meals, menu selection good. Breakfast buffet good selection hot and cold food. Clean pleasant modern hotel, room comfortable. Service good. .

Very nice hotel
Extremely nice with highly updated rooms. We had a slight miscommunicaton where the evening clerrk told us that breakfast was included but at checkout time they wanted to charge us. After explaining the situation, they charged us half price which was fair and acceptable by us. We hiigly recommend this hotel.

Mercure some missing details to make this Hotel ok
No minibar/refrigerator in the room. No Shoe horn, no iron, no information of how to get an iron fro ironing the suit. A lot of smoke from smokers in the hall even the complete floor was for non smokers, poor ventilation in the room. Air into the room from the hall. Elevator sometimes didn't come to the 3rd floor. In gemeral not much information of simple things that you don'øt know when visiting the Hotel first time. Polite and friendly people.

Nice hotel - but NO restaurant
We arrived late Sunday and had planned a late dinner after 8 hrs of driving. But despite how the hotel is described we realized that the restaurant were closed which they obviously do when they do not believe they have enough guests to fill the restaurant. Otherwise a nice hotel whhich met our expectations.

Nice and quite hotel with kind staff. The rooms are very cosy and the corridors look astonishing. The hotel looks very modern and it's a great place to stay for a reasonable price. Even though a 3 euro charge for the parking outside was not mentioned anywhere, it is a good hotel. Certainly recommend the hotel to anyone looking for a short low budget stay.

Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig, habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt auf meiner Reise. Lediglich wurden mir Parkplatz Gebühren berechnet obwohl bei Hotels.com kostenlosen Parkplätze steht.

Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen und das Bad/Dusche war leider nicht sauber. Der Badlüfter war laut und total verstaubt.
