this is an older hotel that is being upgraded. The bed was comfortable and the room clean, but you can tell that this is an older building. Over all, was a nice stay for one night

This place was filthy, TV didn't work, heater didn't work, there was only one towel, there were junkies screaming in the hallway most of the night.

The room I was given was being occupied by someone already. The bed was messy, linens stacked up by one of the lamps, and the trash can in the room was full.

No bugs in our room but it wouldn’t surprise me if you found some in yours. They don’t like dogs even tho they “welcome” them. I have an ESA who helps me in so many ways. One thing that he is trained to do is alert me when he sees someone he feels may danger me, especially if they are dressed in dark colors with a hoodie on and quickly walking towards me. My husband noticed the manager at the same time my dog started alerting me. He said hi to the manager with using him name so my dog and I would calm down and know it’s okk. I ordered my dog to ignore the manager and come inside with me. So he did. But the manager proceeds to tell him husband that we need to get out no later then our original exit date cause our dog is viscous and he isn’t and can’t be an ESA. We left. But I just think he could have been a bit more understanding about the situation. I will say I’m thankful he didn’t kick us out that night and allowed us to finish out the nights we had already paid for. Other than that the bed wasn’t comfortable. But for the price it’s a decent deal.

The evening registration gentleman on 2/8/24 was excellent. Check in took all of 2-3 minutes, from finding my reservation in the computer thru assigning a room, rules and regulations, WiFi, parking, room location, to handing over key cards he was professional but friendly, concise, efficient and informative. I did not have to ask a single question, he covered it all effectively. One of the best motel check ins I have ever had.

TERRIBLE property !! First off they had bugs or something in the room that i was in i got bit on my forehead & it's HUGEE ! Secondly the heater didn't work , we might as well have slept with the patio door wide open & it was SNOWY outside so you know it was extremely cold ! The room was DIRTY & simple things like dirt marks & stuff that could easily be wiped clean with a disinfectant wipe on light switches & stuff ! there was no charging port in the room because someone had ripped it out , then when i explained my concerns to the front desk lady she laughed at me & told me that there was nothing they could do. i was FURIOUS !! please use this place as a LAST resort ! in all seriousness this place was disgusting .

The rooms are much bigger than other similiar hotels. They dont really stock stuff very well. Alao it was my fualt for not remembering but theyndo not do late check outs.

They don’t have esrly check in, they don’t offer it even with a extra fee! Housekeepers are so slow, they received an "update" of clean rooms at 3pm! Their check in time is at 3pm. So if u are hoping to get your room around 1 or even 2, don’t even think about it. I know it’s cheap! But I was hoping at least to get a room early with a extra fee like other hotels do. Well whatever, I hope they will pay me back my 100$ deposit for a night after this review. lol

BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS I checked into room 616 around midnight on December 1, 2023, had a busier day than anticipated on the 2nd and had to extend my stay. On the morning of the 3rd, while turning off my 5 AM alarm, in the faint glow of my cell phone light, I saw little black spots scurrying across my sheets...BED BUGS!!! I have pictures and videos of the incident in room 616. Upon making my discovery of the BED BUGS, I was able to kill 3 of the BED BUGS, and brought the dead BED BUGS to the front desk to show them and check out. The BED BUGS didn't seem to phase the counter person, I guess it's just another day for them. When I asked for a refund I was given the run around along with a 1 800 number that could offer me points instead of a suiting compensation. It may be cheap here, but there's better for less in the immediate area. God Bless

Book here if u want to be treated poorly. You will be considered no show if your bus is delayed, have no phone service and only able to message hotel from message system which specifies that you give hotel few days to respond that way they can treat you as a no show, you see?

Please don’t stay there. I don’t know what happened it used to be one of my favorite places to stay in Reno. Poor management it seems they don’t care about who’s stays there anymore we had a terrible experience lots of noise after hours people walking in and out of their room slamming the doors,smoking and drinking on the stairs didn’t stop till 3am I notified the management they didn’t care and tolde they can’t do anything about it. Super dirty room found some roaches in the room

Its a decent hotel if price and availability are important to you short notice. The room was warm when I first walked in. Everything was clean. Its not a 5 star hotel, its the Econolodge for a reason. But quick and easy to get a room. Centralized in town. Has a laundry room (and 2 laundromats across the street), Sprouts supermarket and plenty of restaurants in walking distance. If you're into walking, the main casinos in Reno (Cal-Neva, Circus Circus, Silver Legacy etc.) are like a miles walk North. Overall 4 stars for me
