Fantastic staff, great room except a/c.Posted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: See above.
Cons: Air conditioning.
Location: Airport is a 2 minute drive.
The staff at this hotel deserves a raise for its friendliness and ability to multi-task. Wasn't expecting much from an airport hotel (stayed at Best Western-Reno Airport last year, awful) but this one exceeded expectations. Room was huge, WiFi excellent; bells and whistles for technology (hooking computer to t.v., etc.) great. Although no room service, ability to call down an order from hotel menu and pick it up in lobby worked well. Food was B+ and downstairs bar, though small, had good and reasonably priced wine at $6.75 per glass. Only drawback, and it's significant, to this hotel is awful air conditioning noise: you feel like you're in a wind tunnel all night. That said, this one gets an A-.

Difficult to findPosted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: Friendly & helpful staff.
Cons: Rooms are dated and need a better layout arrangement - e.g. the sink was located around the corner from the washroom - better if it was IN the washroo
Location: Did not have time to tour - a quick IN-OUT business trip.
With all the construction around RENO, I took an hour to find Hyatt Place after I reached RENO on Hwy. 80. A Map with written directions would have been a great help. As it was, I stopped a gentleman in a pickup truck who VERY nicely told me to follow him, led me to a spot where I could see the highways, gave me driving instructions. HATS OFF THE THAT GUY - a PEST CONTROL company.

A Mini Hyatt - -perfectPosted Aug 22, 2015
Pros: The staff really try to make your stay exactly what you want. They go out of their way to try and say "Sure, we can do that".
This is a really nice place to stay in Reno if you don't want the "Casino" experience. Convenient location, well maintained, a really nice group of employees. Their complimentary breakfast is a bonus. Also, if you want a cocktail or wine, they pour really big drinks.

Close to the airport and very easy to get to from the airport. Close to the interstate, so easy to get around the Reno area. Nice hotel , very quiet. Nice free breakfast. Big TV in room, very clean and great bed.
