I really like the Peppermill and usually get a room in the Tuscan Tower. I noticed that thinks seem a little worn and dated in this are of the hotel. Time doe N update?

I love staying at the Peppermill. It is my favorite place to stay anytime I go to Reno Nevada. The only disappointment I had was when I went to book my massage and was told that I have to book 4 weeks in advance. I really wish they had a note in the spa section specifying that.

Comfortable bed. Large and lively casino. Fun stay.
The property was difficult to navigate and especially since a critical elevator was out of service and the front desk was unaware. The room was of good size but a little dusty and the phone did not work.
The staff has been absolutely WONDERFUL!
From requesting a room near elevator for handicap spouse, to bringing a microwave for his special meal. Checking up to make sure microwave delivered.
Great great hotel, and excellent staff!!!!!

Great location to downtown Reno. Easy self parking. Map of the hotel/casino could be better.

The only problem is the smell of smoke all over the casino. If there was one bar/lounge that was non-smoking that would be great. Everywhere you go smells like smoke. I guess those are the joys of being in a casino.
We had a room on the 2nd floor [3total] on the North wing. It was tricky to find the room. This appears to be the lower tier room for those paying likely thru 3rd party instead of hotel direct. Nontheless, it was 200/night so not bad and fyi resort fee is 40/night and they give you 10$ credit if you opt out of room cleaning w/ 2 night minimum but you must let the hotel know ahead of time.
