Hotel Reservation

I had a bad experience at the front desk when I checked in. Even I had a confirmation under my name from Expedia, The front desk said the reservation name is not under my name. The hotel manager insisted that they needed the confirmation from the person on the hotel list to let me stay. This reservation was made by the travel agency for my work and I do not know about the person's name who made my air & hotel reservation. It seems the hotel did not receive the same information as I had. The confirmation # is 61880388 and I stayed from 1/4 for one night. Anyway I explained about my situation, I could stay at the hotel. I hope this kind of incident will not happen again. I really feel I want the agency to book a room through the hotel directly not Expedia. This is my true opinion. Thank you.

Works for the price - wouldn't come back

We planned a last minute road trip to California and decided to come up to Reno and South Lake Tahoe and spend 2 nights in Reno. We had never been before and were more into South Lake Tahoe but at this price it seemed like a good deal to stay here and drive to SLT. The hotel from the outside looks very impressive for the price. However once you get inside it is not the same place. The hallways were cold and dark, the bed had what felt like a box spring on it without a mattress you could literally feel metal springs in the bed and a weird metal border around the bed. We couldn't sleep at all it was so loud everywhere in this place. The neighborhood it self was pretty sketchy there was people outside all hours of the night and did not feel comfortable walking around at all. We woke up to vomit all around our car and then all the way down the parking lot around other cars. We couldn't eat the entire time because there were so many people crammed around the breakfast area so I cannot comment on that portion of the stay. Needless to say for an extra couple bucks we should have stayed somewhere else, the price at this hotel was not that much of a deal compared to the other places in the area.

Ok for price

Halls are very cold and dirty. The rooms was clean and large. The beds were very hard. The tub did not drain well. It did have a nice stove and fridge. Every time we left hotel there were people smoking by outside door, which was sort of annoying.

Reasonable hotel near the airport .

Pros: Good rates
Cons: Housekeeping, please restock after you clean room
Location: good location, near airport
Front desk were helpful, and friendly, and check in was quick. Housekeeping was the problem, they would come in and do a decent job of cleaning, but wouldn't restock everything. We were there for three days and they never once replaced with new coffee filters, or with cups, or glasses. I had to go to front desk to get soap, and shampoo. Also, they also shorted us on towels.

I was disappointed about the additional $28 charge for my small dog. It would have been nice to be notified of the charge in advance. It would have changed my hotel choice.

We charge the pet fee, because our housekeeping team has to do deep cleaning to the rooms where there has been pets. They just want your money

I booked on here hit summit it sent me to the same page again so I thought it didn't go threw. I refreshed my browser clicked on another hotel which worked and game me a confirmation number and and email so I went there. I then get an email hours later from asking me to rate my check in at this hotel which I didn't get anything saying it went threw. I called and you could clearly see I had two rooms now and they wouldn't refund the other one even tho I didn't stay in it.

Friendly and helpful...

Pros: Fast and friendly check in. Everything about our stay was good, I liked having a fridge and microwave in the room.
Cons: We stayed here for about 2 weeks and as much as everything was good the cleaning was ok. My son's bed sheet didn't get changed once during our stay and our room was skipped at least twice. And it would have been nice if the website explained more as to what the rooms offer like stoves because I would have really loved that.

Pros: Pet friendly hotel. Housekeeping staff were friendly
Cons: Front desk staff was rude. I booked two separate nights at separate times so there were 2 reservations in my name. The front desk employee said she couldn't do anything until I explained it was more labor costs to clean 2 rooms instead of one. Then she said she didn't know for sure if what she did worked or not. She should be trained on what customer service should look like.
