Don't think I'd stay there again.

Posted Feb 24, 2017
Toilet plugged at arrival, came and fixed. Showering in 2 inches if water, drain very slow. Heater broke second night and extra no blankets in room. Not a good choice.

Nice hotel but the casino...

Posted Feb 13, 2017
The recommendation is a qualified one. It is cheaper than the downtown casino hotel. The hotel is a about a mile away from the downtown casino district. The hotel and the room we were on is nice. Our room faces downtown and the room is clean and we had good experiences with check in and out. The bed is bit soft for me and the TV is still tub. The neighborhood is bit on the interesting side and the casino is very small and the customers there don't look like the tourists you see in the downtown casinos.

Needed a place to crash.

Posted Feb 12, 2017
I am a truck driver and I needed a room, with truck parking. The Super 8 and Holiday Inn were both sold out. The guy working at the Holiday Inn told me that there was a convention in town, and the only place he knew of that might have a room was the Ramada in downtown Reno. I was very tired, so at this point I was willing to stay anywhere. I went on Expedia and the only room they had available, was a two double bed room. The lady working at the reception desk seemed to be in a bad mood, but thats understandable. My room was available, and there was no issue at check in. The lobby reeked of cigarette smoke and spilled alcohol, due to the shady casino right next to it. I got a non smoking room, and it smelled fine. The room itself was clean, and the bed was pretty comfortable. I slept like a baby, and was out the door the next morning at 6 am. If you are on a mid grade budget, and need a decent place to stay for a night in Reno, this place will work.

The staff was nice but hotel and casino were dirty

Posted Feb 10, 2017
The casino smelt and was dirty My headboard broke in the middle of the night so I left and went to another hotel Staff is at least nice at check out in helping kicking out our so called friends, only thing that gave this place some good standing in my books.

Super Bowl vacation

Posted Feb 7, 2017
Pros: Price, near to downtown.
Cons: I found no faults with this hotel.
Location: Sketchy location. Close to all of downtown Reno.
I called for the hotel shuttle from the airport, they came promptly. Overall, a very pleasant stay. Sketchy neighborhood though.

Hotel check-in was great. Staff were very helpful.

Rooms were clean, beds comfortable, had an adjoining room as was requested. Missed the restaurant as wasn't open for dinner. Wake up call was on time. Good place to lay your head down at night. Will use again when in Reno.

Affordable, Warm with Nice View + quiet !

Posted Jan 18, 2017
Pros: Easy to locate. The big sign RAMADA can be seen from any part of the city. Room was warm and clean even though we requested extra comforters
Cons: To add a few complimentary water bottles in each room. For winter season to update rooms with thicker comforters
Location: n/a
I did not expect much from our stay. Since we were there for 1 night only. The room was clean with big window. Blankets were not for winter season. Therefore, we requested another few extra (just in case). Luckily the heater in the room worked properly. With ease we were able to warm up the room and stay warm during the night. It is decent place for those who does not expect much out of it and just need a place for staying over night or 2. I was able to find very good deal for booking than any other similar hotel.

BED BUGS and non helpful staff

Posted Jan 3, 2017
This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Ever. After checking in we took the elevator up to our floor and a fellow patron said to be wary of theft because their rooms had been robbed twice. The room wasn't clean, didn't have coffee, toiletries, or towels so we had to go back downstairs to get all of that from the front desk. We stayed 2 nights and when housekeeping cleaned after the first night they didn't replace toiletries or towels or coffee. We also noticed there was no refrigerator and the front desk told us it's $10 extra per night. The tv was an ancient box tv that made a loud ringing noise when on with lots of static every few minutes. The view from our hotel room was terrible. Looked straight onto a roof and because of the location it made the wind going by unbearable. We weren't able to sleep well because of the wind noise. AND the next morning we found BED BUGS on our stuff and on the beds. Ran to front desk to tell them and they didn't believe us. The front desk and head of housekeeping were very rude and head of housekeeping said she needed to go and see for herself. After showing her pictures and the physical dead ones we smashed she still didn't believe. It wasn't until she lifted a sheet and found a HUGE one that she said "okay, that's definitely a bed bug" before she believed me.
