Nice hotel but not advertised correctlyPosted Sep 28, 2015
Our stay was good but the hotel did not exactly have the amenities you would expect in a four star hotel. The casinos have been closed down and that floor of the hotel has been shut down. The breakfast bar was understocked and not prepared for many guests. The rooms weren't bad but I was disappointed in the lack of amenities advertised.

Pros: We were offered VIP parking with our classic car during Hot August Nights.
Cons: Re-open casino. Extend coffee shop hours. A few amenities e.g. Microwave oven would be nice. Bed wasn't super comfortable.
Location: Harrah Collection Car Museum right across the street. Otherwise kinda sketchy neighbourhood.
Has potential but kind of a letdown. Lots of money for an average place.

JUST CLOSE IT ALREADY!Posted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: Rooms were nice.
Location: Bad neighborhood.
This place is terrible. In the process of changing ownership and everything is closed. No restaurant, no valet, no bar, no casino, no spa. A hotel in Reno without a bar? The staff is trying but you can tell they are very overworked without enough resources. All exterior doors except for the lobby are locked at night so you are forced to walk around the dark exterior in a bad neighborhood. Parking lot has caution tape dividing it with no logical reason or layout. Just need to shut it down and open again once it is re-branded. Expedia needs to do a better job representing what this hotel actual is.

Nice hotel. Close to activities in town.Posted Sep 21, 2015
Although they no longer have casino, the hotel was reasonably priced, and close to other casinos. We were given a large glass of wine in the bar, each day between hours of 5-6pm, courtesy of hotel. Enjoyed our stay.

They were down to a minimal staff. The casino was being renovated or something. In any case there wasn't any casino and the hotel is a bit far from downtown with a lot of vagrants loitering around the area. Not recommended. Not worth the money, not even half the money I paid

Room wasn't what it was represented to bePosted Sep 21, 2015
Cons: Just a no frills room. If you want something more...Don't hold your breath.
In searching out my options for accommodations while attending the Reno Air Races, three details made me choose the Sienna over last year's choice; a river view, free wireless internet, and two queen beds with the option of an additional portable bed for a third guest. None of these details were fulfilled...The room looked out over the parking lot, I managed to get a wireless connection once and even that was horribly slow, and we were not allowed the extra portable bed because of Fire Marshall concerns. Had I know none of the selling points would actually be available, i would have saved a little money and book where I stayed last year. I'm not impressed and I wont be back.

Nice hotel that is close to downtown!Posted Sep 21, 2015
Pros: The cleanliness and staff.
Cons: Develop the hotel into more of an attraction site.
Location: Walking distance to downtown area in which was awesome!
The hotel and room was nice. I also liked the fact that they accepted pets: however, there is no casino, restaurant, or club in which was advertised. However, the concierge was extremely helpful and nice. Overall, I enjoyed this hotel, but I would have liked to have spent less on the room because the first night I spent $180, but at least the second night was cheaper in which was $80.

DisappointingPosted Sep 20, 2015
Pros: Complimentary wine service and the bartender is outstanding, very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Facility needs to be renovated with more bells and whistles, good thing it is becoming a Marriott.
Location: The Reno minor league baseball park is nearby.
I was disappointed in my stay at the Siena, as I read it was a four star hotel. I would say it is 2-3 stars. I was traveling from out of state and did not know that the Casino portion had closed. The owner has sold the hotel to a group that is going to convert it into a Marriott. The hotel is in a so-so part of Reno, and there is a lot of construction downtown by the hotel. The Casino portion and parking lot are under renovation. The Internet did not work. The room was spacious but bland. There were no incidentals in the room, they were located in the hotel lobby. There is no restaurant in the hotel, just a bar, and it opens at 5:00 pm. They did have a complimentary wine service which was nice, and the bartender was great. If you are looking for an inexpensive hotel and arrive late at night and are moving on in the next morning it is OK, but if you are a business traveler I would not recommend this hotel.

Nicr hotel by the stripPosted Sep 14, 2015
Nice rooms, didn't have a extra blanket call if you need one. Beds comfortable. Some blemishes in room but clean. Pool and hot tub nice, pool as black paint floating in it from worn out tiles. Taylor gave us shuttle ride to stadium to watch the Wolfpack and picked us up. No casino they are bought out from Marriott. Kinda pricey on weekend but nice. :) nice robes.
