Our room was great. Good bed, room was nice and clean. The building was very old but the room itself was updated. We checked in quite late and the person manning the front desk spoke no English and we speak no Italian so we had a bit of a hard time understanding each other but all in all it went well and we got to our room in a timely manner. They were wonderful and even let us stash our bags there on the day we checked out so we could sightsee while we waited for our train. There’s a few restaurants nearby but the major monuments are about a 30 min walk from here

If you are looking for a place to sleep, shower, keep your luggage, (not spend a lot of time in the room), this is the place. This is a basic room and you pay for what you get. There is no view out the windows and some have shutters on the outside. Limited natural light. The rooms are certainly in need of a good overhaul, such as paint, carpet, beds (low to the ground, hard mattress). On the positive, the water is hot quickly and the shower is great. Towels are soft. Very close to Roma Termini, can walk with luggage.

Location is perfect for all attractions and also not far from metro stations to go further if needed. Hotel was clean and spacious in the entrance and the room itself. No complaints!

The building was a little dated, but it served for our time in Rome. Two night's sleep were completely interrupted by heavy equipment right outside our window beginning at 11pm and lasting until 6am.

The location was fairly good, but be prepared that the room is very small, bed is not great and bathroom is hard to move around in. The window view was into the centre of the building so it was dark and there was a lot of piping. The building does not seem like it’s been updated in quite a while. It was not the most comfortable experience. However staff was kind.

Great accommodation
This was a great find for the price. Very close to Termini train station, Trevi Fountain, Partenon, etc. Quality of the hotel was good, very clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was spacious and quiet street. The hotel shares the check in process with another hotel, so the clerk walked us over to the Opera Suites and showed us how to get in and out of the building and the room (if you’re a solo female traveler, just wanted to give a heads up). Would definitely stay there again if given the option.

Dirty Extra bedding.
This guest house is perfectly located. Less than 10mins walk from the main train station and 15mins/ 20mins walk to Fountain Trevi and Spanish steps. You will have to check in at their parent host hotel "Hotel Sonya" which is located at the beginning of the block. The only issue with my stay, was the dirty extra blankets that were left for us in the closet. It was not washed nor inspected before being placed into our room for use. Thankfully, I am a diligent hotel guest and I inspect everything before using. The white blanket had what appeared to be pee stain or some other bodily fluid on it, along with human hair. Super disgusting and such a turn off.

OK, but wouldn't stay there again
Stayed twice - once on the front of our trip for four nights and on the back end for two more. We booked four rooms. While this hotel is fine if you are on a budget and in a friendly area, we can't recommend it otherwise. What looked like blood was splattered on the wall of my first room. The showers are extremely small. My first being the size of an old phone booth. The rooms are appointed with circa 1970s furniture and bedspreads. I could not get my first TV to work. One of the rooms on the back end was musty and smelled moldy. The price was right but the hotel left a lot to be desired.

Got the twins beds so we had more room to sleep. Room needed a touch up but was clean and staff helpful. Great location and was able to leave our bags after check out so that we could spend our last moments free of them.

The building was quaint, and the staff were friendly. But do not be confused when looking up the name of the hotel (Suite Opera Room) with Opera Suites Roma, especially when using travel apps.

You get what you pay for
Its got a bed and a bathroom, so for a city trip this was ok but they definitely need to work on cleanliness. The walls need a new coat of paint, the floors a good mop and the shower only had hot water in the afternoon NOT in the morning. Essentially, you pay to have a place to sleep but don’t expect anything else.

Central location, easy to walk from the main train station or get to the metro. Walking to Trevi Fountain is only 10-12 minutes depending on speed of pace. There are restaurants just outside of the area if you don't have time to look around. A great gelato place just 5 minutes away (Verte Pistachio)

A sad shame....
Its very sad when the accommodation is located well, is as expected and a convenient stay except for the miserable one staff member, who will be in polite, rude and on the last day rip you of taxes twice, even when you provide the receipt given on the first day! For this reason sadly we would not rate or stay again!! Beware of the old grey hair coot, and the money they will remove after you have left!!
