Agia Galini again and again
Great value for money. Cleaners came every day to replace sheets and towels. Breakfast included in the price and offered plenty of choices. Pool was fantastic and clean. Friendly staff. Good location. Parking spaces on-site. Only downside was a lack of WiFi in the room, however, good WiFi in reception area and at the pool. Also, extra charges applied for air con (€5/day) and fridge (€2/day). We would definitely return here.

No where near where we wanted to be ,
I had looked up rooms in Matala , this is no where near Matala , 40 minute drive away , no Wi-Fi in the rooms only down in the lobby , no elevator so we had to carry our bags up 4 flights of stairs ... most disappointing hotel of our entire stay .

A very good compromise on location and price
The Petra Hotel is about 150-200 yards out of the center of town, up the hill on the busy road out of town. But that's not really a problem; it's easy to walk down into the town. Our room was spacious, pleasant, and newly renovated. Strangely, however, the hotel charges for air conditioning (5 Euros/night), the use of the refrigerator (2 Euros/night), and the use of the safe (1 Euro/night). I have never in all my travels been asked to pay for air conditioning or to use an in-room refrigerator. The hotel is amateurish in general; I recommend they professionalize and just raise their rates by 5 Euros in the summer. There was a mediocre continental breakfast. They did not serve "English breakfast" as advertised.

The hotel was to the usual Grreek standards. The air conditioning system dripped water in the room, when I reported this they said they would fix it, of course this was not done during my 3 day stay. The staff were friendly.

no reservation
fine except that they did not have the reservation I made through your site. Thank goodness they had a room available, and that I had a copy of the reservation, show9ing that I had paid. They must have contacted you since it doesn't look like they charge me again. You may want to look into it.

This hotel was so so...
The air conditioning was off and the windows were closed when we arrived so the room was super hot and it took a lot of time to bring the temperature to an acceptable level. There is no elevator and our room was at the third or fourth floor! The parking is limited but it's not surprising. It's really a 2-star hotel...

great hotel for the price well situated the staff were welcoming and paris the manager was exceptionally helpful the pool was very clean and the pool bar was very well run by george although this hotel has few brits at the time we visited this was not a problem as the other guests were friendly

Great Relaxing Place to go back to
The Hotel was good value for money and the standards were good for the star rating. Paris the Hotel manager was a very nice and helpful person. Agia Galini is perfect place to relax and enjoy taking ife as fast or as slow as you would want to. Pay a visit to the Blue Bar sit back and listen to some good music with friendly people around.

Entspannter Urlaub im frisch renovierten Hotel
Wir waren zum zweiten Mal im Hotel Petra. Die Zimmer wurden im Frühjahr komplett renoviert. Die Ausstattung ist sehr gut, die Betten super. Auch das Bad wurde sehr schön hergerichtet. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Fantastisk til prisen!
Rigtig godt hotel til prisen med en fin pool, ok balkon og morgenmad og køleskab på værelset, som man var velkommen til at fylde fra supermarkedet, da man betalte to euro om dagen for det.

Einfaches, aber sehr nettes Hotel!
Sehr freundlich geführtes, kleines Hotel etwas oberhalb von Agia Galini. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber; die Betten sind durchweg gut. Leider sind die Badezimmer technisch in einem absolut miserablen Zustand. Die Chefin des Hotels ist stets ansprechbar und sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Poolanlage ist in einem guten Zustand; der Pool sauber.

Kleine Zimmer - enges Badezimmer - Fernseher ist da , geht aber nicht - durch dass Kondenzwasser der Klimaanlage schwimmt immer die Terasse- WLan nur in 2m umkreis der Anlage- Bar im empfang ist nicht besetzt- Zimmer zu klein für Familien

Wir sind für eine Nacht geblieben und am nächsten Tag weitergereist. Hierfür war das Hotel ok. Wir waren ziemlich schnell in der schönen Altstadt uns haben da auch die meiste Zeit während unseres Aufenthalts verbracht. Minus: Der Pool lud nicht wirklich zum Schwimmen ein.

Det var ett trevligt hotell nära till serveringar och affärer. Standarden var väl inte så hög men man åker ju inte på semester för att sitta på rummet. Frukosten var av normalt snitt, kunde ha varit mer grönsaker. Fick låna bredbandsanslutning för att hålla kontakt med barnen henmma.

Managern Paris, tar emot med glädje, är där för tredje gången. Han ger gärna tips om sevärdheter, badstränder att besöka. Ett plus är att poolbaren har genomgått en ansiktslyftning sedan förra gången. Rekommenderar varmt detta ställe.

Mycket prisvärt hotell i trivsam by
Petra är ett trevligt litet hotell vi av en slump hamnade på för fyra år sedan. Sedan har vi varit där varje år. Trevligt bemötande, bra standard för priset. Nära ner till den lilla lugna byn. Egen pool med bar, frukost som är OK, bra balkonger i solläge. Möjlighet att köpa till tv, AC, kyl. Hårda sängar, som resten av Kreta. Stranden i Galini trist men 30 min bort med bil finns några av Kretas finaste.

sistemato a metà strada tra la spiaggia e la zona del porto (vero cuore di Agia Galini) l'hotel petra è una buona sistemazione con un buon rapporto qualità-prezzo. Il primo giorno ci hanno assegnato una stanza molto piccola avvertendoci subito della temporaneità della sistemazione, gli altri tre giorni ci hanno dato una stanza abbastanza spaziosa. Buon livello di pulizia, essenziale ma molto comoda la colazione compresa nel prezzo.
