Needs some TLC and updating.Posted Sep 30, 2015
Nice place out of town. Lovely big showers with plenty of hot water and good pressure. Nice views and lots of facilities, but showing its age a bit. Air conditioning units are very noisy and although we had turned ours off, neighbours sharing the balcony ran theirs all night. We had no sleep and when we mentioned it at check out, staff admitted the units could be noisy and offerred us a cup of tea to go. We didn't feel too happy about that.

Design flawPosted Sep 26, 2015
Pros: The common areas were especially well furnished.
This is a nice upscale hotel resort but there is a design flaw that led to us leaving after the first night. Each room has an air vent which connects to the hallway and which carries any noise from the hallway - talking, laughing, etc. - directly into your room right above the bed. We found this noise intrusion to be unacceptable and most disappointing in a hotel of this class.

Been Before...Posted Sep 22, 2015
Pros: Gorgeous views, lush vegetation, peace and tranquility and amazing architecture with a true "log cabin" feel to it.
Location: Revelstoke has great opportunity for those who ski, snow shoe, love to hike etc. Poor service in many restaurants. Some treasures if you look hard!
I love this Hotel. It is perfect for quiet getaways, has a remarkable view and ambience and is simply a "feel good" place to stay. My husband has stayed four times before, I have stayed 3 times and would highly recommend it for winding down, for enjoy the rapture of nature, and the beauty of the views. If you are looking for "action" this is definitely not the place. But if you want peace, quiet and renewal this is by far the best you can get!!! Sandy Stoutenburg

Nice break point between Vancouver and Calgary.Posted Sep 15, 2015
Pros: Restaurant/bar area downstairs. Updated room, nice floors, nice bathroom/shower…
Great stopping point. We traveled from Vancouver back to Calgary and stopped in Revelstoke. Hotel stay was just one night but nice area, plenty of parking, clean/updated hotel room. Great restaurant/bar area if you don't want to head back out downtown.

Quite Valley OverlookPosted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: Clean, Quite,
Cons: Breakfast would be a nice inclusion for the price point.
Location: Just out of town. Not much right at the Hotel but lots to do in the area if you enjoy the mountains
Nice location away from the Rail noise and just out of town. Car or bike is required if you plan on going back into town. This hotel is good value for the price after looking at others in the area.

Cozy B&BPosted Aug 28, 2015
A nice, cozy family-run B&B located in a quiet area of Victoria. Room is clean and well decorated. We stayed in the King Suite which has a direct view of the Craigdarroch Castle. What is also worth mentioning is the free guest laudry which is very convenient.
