Nice apartment, close the shops and restaurantsPosted Oct 12, 2015
Very nice friendly staff, cozy clean apartment. Expected to use microwave, but there wasnt one at apartment. Had to phone call to reception which is in the different place and about 10minutes walk away. If only there is a internal telephone to speak to the staff... But overall, we were happy staying there.

Don't fooled by the pictures they postPosted Oct 8, 2015
We followed the GPS and there's no sign that with the name of Apartment K. We tried to call the hotel, but it turned to an auto responding system, then hung up. Then we tried three times, still no one pick up the phone, The service are SO BAD!!!!!!! Be aware, the place you checked in is not where your apartment located. Don't be fooled by their cozy lobby, because after checked in, they are going to bring you across the street, lead you to the disapointing apartment. When we get to the apartment building, no one informed us about the elevator situation. We lived in third floor and carried three large suit cases. I was shocked and asked the male staff, why no one told me it's top floor and no elevator. The guy is so unpolite and asked me:" what do you mean! you cant manage your laggage then i will help you, but please be quick, i have other guest need my help." and his rudeness shows again when we asked him wheather there are some problem with their phone, he told us, "we are busy, when no one pick up, that means we busy to doing something..." I think the staff in hotel answer their phone is a basic thing. The terrible manner from their staff really shocked me! Then lets talk about the apartment, the first floor of apartment building is a restaurant kitchen, if you dont care about the oily smell then its not going to be a problem. But it REALLY SMELL BAD, all of your cloth gonna smells like french fries!!!!! The room is OLD AND DIRTY! Don't recommand others to stay here!

Central and spacious locationPosted Oct 7, 2015
The apartment we stayed in was in an excellent location. The rooms, especially the lounge with a huge front window, were spacious and nicely furnished. A few items, especially all the blinds, need replacing as they are tattered. Some of the pictures and some furniture (the sofa is rickety) are tired and are in need of updating and repair. There is no one answering the phone at central reception - definitely not good. For the price we paid I would have expected a little more refinement. But all in all, it was a good experience and I'd come back here provided some of the points raised above had been seen to.

Great place but airport transfer was messed upPosted Sep 29, 2015
Apartment k had a great location, right next to lots of food and drink places. The rooms had everything we needed, roomy and clean. The staff were all really friendly and welcoming. The only issue which unfortunately was quite stressful was to do with our airport transfer on our way back. A member of staff said they had booked the bus to take us to the bus terminal but when we went to reception on the morning of our flight, another member of staff said nothing had been booked. They managed to get us onto the next bus but this meant that we would only get to the airport 20 minutes before our gate closed - pretty stressful! Apart from this issue, it was a lovely place to stay in a wonderful country.

Great apartment, excellent location.Posted Sep 28, 2015
Apartment was great and view to church was amazing. Also has balcony that's a great plus. Stairs are too narrow and steep that's a big no but overall flat is lovely, clean and even has coffee machine great for 3 to 4 people. Parking is not a problem because you can always find parking around and cost around 60 pence to 1 pound an hour depends which zone you park I would suggest to park in P2, side streets. You actually live on a famous street and it's always busy and even 24/7 convince store is not far:) overall you will have fun and apartment is value for money.

Dåligt städat rum. Fick påtala detta två gånger. Föregående gästs sopor kvar i rummet när vi kom. Dålig wi-film anslutning i vårt rum. Otrevlig "boss" när vi påtalade städningen. Blev lovad en läslampa directly men fick ingen.

Great LocationPosted Sep 23, 2015
The apartment I stayed in was very open and spacious and located on the main shopping street in Reykjavik. It was only a 10 minute walk to the downtown area as well.

Really nice building, staff and location.Posted Sep 22, 2015
Stayed 2 nights and great spot and staff. Only downside which was not a huge issue for us is that sound from other units was noticeable.
