Fantastic location, staff, comfort and breakfast!Posted Apr 29, 2017
Pros: Location, breakfast, staff
Cons: Shampoo packets are mediocre.
Location: Right next to Hallgrimskirkja (our room overlooked it) with restaurants and grocery store nearby. Extremely walkable to everything in Reykjavik.
The guesthouse is very well located and on a quiet street with private parking lot located behind it. Staff is extremely friendly and everything is quite clean and very spacious. We had a double twin room with private bath. Breakfast is great and they even set out coffee & fruit in the afternoon. Guesthouse provides shampoo packets but you may be better off bringing your own. Walls can sometimes be thin if you're trying to sleep and other rooms are just returning, but overall everybody seemed very respectable and quiet.

Great LocationPosted Apr 16, 2017
The best thing about Sunna is the location. It is across the street from the Church on the Hill which makes navigating simple. The main street with restaurants, the main shopping area, and a small grocery starts about twenty yards from the hotel. Small full kitchen if you want to save money. Good breakfast provided daily. This hotel is a great value (and good value is hard to find in Iceland).

Great location and well equipped roomsPosted Mar 25, 2017
Location: Close to the Hallgrímskirkja Church. Cafe Loki is also close by and it has great cakes.
This hotel is in a great location, convenient for the city centre and the BSI Bus Terminal. We had a studio which is well equipped with fridge and small cooker (there's a good little supermarket nearby). The staff are helpful and there's plenty to eat at breakfast - cereal, toast, ham, cheese, etc. Beds are comfy, showers nice and hot and there's a real hairdryer. I would definitely stay here again.

Great central locationPosted Mar 11, 2017
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Brilliant shower. Very clean. Lovely comfortable beds.
Cons: The picnic lunch we ordered was a bit disappointing. I would have prefered a choice of sandwiches or rolls instead of the hard croissant.
Location: Central - just a walk away from the main shopping areas and lots of restaurants to choose from. Hallgrimskirkja church is just across the road.
A clean comfortable hotel to come back to after your exhausting tours each day. Very warm in the rooms even in the night so you don't need fluffy pj's!

Ok ButPosted Feb 14, 2017 on Hotels
Nice clean guest house, but we ended up getting 2 single beds and no bathroom as it was booked solid, toilets and showers were in the corridor.
