Nice hotel in a nice locationPosted Dec 1, 2015
Great place to stay if visiting Reykjavik. Very friendly and helpful staff. My only negative was that I found the matress and pillows too soft and we're therefore quite uncomfortable - but this is purely personal as I prefer a firmer matress. Other than, extremely pleasant stay!

Lovely hotelPosted Nov 14, 2015
Pros: Location, space and decor. spacious room and good bathroom products
Cons: see above re breakfast
Very nice hotel which made our Reykjavik visit even more enjoyable staff were great, only minus is that the hotel breakfast closes at 10am on a Sunday which could be at least 1030 or 11 but i guess their reasoning is that they need to clear it before they open for external guests I would definitely stay again

Great hotel.Posted Oct 30, 2015
We had a room on the eighth floor with wonderful views across the bay to the mountains. The room was very clean and functional. We didn't much like the paper cups for tea and coffee however. The breakfast that we opted for was excellent. It is better to pay for this when booking. We had a small problem in that the fact that we had paid for breakfast did not show up on their system. I had printed off my details from Expedia showing that we had opted for breakfast. This error was dealt with very quickly and efficiently. The hotel was a 20 minute walk away from the centre of Reykjavik which we were happy to walk, but a free bus pass was provided if required.

Perfect for my tripPosted Oct 28, 2015
Pros: Front desk, tour desk, bar, room service, restaurant, location, parking, room overall.
Cons: Room keys. I had other guests operate the elevators and maids let me into my room, as the key worked sporadically. I had the keys reset twice.
Location: The location is not for walking to attractions. There is bus service, and hotel provides free passes. Easy for the self driver to find and navigate.
I chose the Hilton Nordica based on its rating and features I require like restarant, bar, parking, and room service. Spa was a secondary consideration, but I'd have used it if time allowed. Asa at the front desk gave me a room close to elevators, and allowed me to get my room early since my flights were quite early. I also used the tour desk, the agent was most helpful and knowledgeable. I used room service and found that to be prompt and delicious. And heres another gold star......waiting to board my plane home, I remembered I had not emptied my room safe. A phone call and some emails traded with Armann got my items on their way to me at home.

Hilton Reyjkavik NordicaPosted Oct 23, 2015
Location: Great location, very accessible.
We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton. We had heard people on the internet say it was too far from the center of things, but unless you are a teenager or very early 20s you wouldn't want to be downtown with it's major traffic problems and noise. We were perfectly happy with our decision to stay there. All of the tours will pick up there too. The staff was always helpful, the facility was very clean and comfortable. Good choice.

Top notch hotel in Iceland's capital.Posted Oct 6, 2015
Cons: Nothing that I could tell, except to maybe remove the speed bumps in the parking lot.
Location: Jump off place to the Golden Triangle and 5 minutes form the old town.
This is a first class hotel. One of the best Hilton's I have ever stayed at. Food at breakfast was wonderful with plenty of selections. It was like a Sunday brunch every day!
