excellent breakfast. Dinner was way over priced for the portions. Many better restaurants for value in the city

Excellent hotel, a fairly stiff walk from town

Posted Nov 6, 2017
Cons: Proper cups for tea and coffee in the room.
Very helpful staff, bright, comfortable room, all good. Bit of a stiff walk from central Reykjavik, but we didn't mind that.

Wonderful experience with hotel staff and really enjoyed the breakfast and lunch buffets at the VOX restaurant. They have a lively happy hour scene at the bar and high-tech gym facilities. I highly recommend staying here if you’re ever visiting Reykjavik for business or leisure. The free parking also helps!

Expected standard for 4 star Hotel

Iceland in general is pricy, but found the food and drink at the hotel to be reasonable. Food was excellent quality. Room was comfortable if not a little warm!! No way to adjust the heating.

Great breakfast range and excellent restaurant. In room service was quick, delicious and reasonably priced which was great as we were out all day and late evenings on tours. The bedroom is clean spacious and comfortable with the bed being very relaxing - no complaints at all. The views are nice especially being able to see out of the city, but nothing to write home about. However head to the 9th floor to have a look down the spiral staircase, it's really impressive. All tours pick up and drop off at the hotel so it's really a convenient and comfortable stay for anyone touring Iceland, thoroughly recommended.

Great home base for travelling around Reykjavik

Posted Oct 15, 2017
Pros: The design of the hotel and the staff were great. Excellent restaurant.
Cons: The hotel temperature was very warm during our stay, Oct 3 - 12. We had the heat turned off and the windows open but it was still hot.
Location: Great if you have a car. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Near shopping, restaurants and major roads. Near Zoo & Botanical Garden.
This hotel is modern and beautiful. There is free parking available and a wonderful restaurant, Vox, that also provides room service. There is more of a business vibe to the hotel rather than a cute tourist type inn. This is exactly what we were looking for on this trip. Great internet, terrific staff and one of the best lunch time buffets you will find in Iceland. A great option at a good price.

Wonderful hotel, but not in the centre of Reykavik

Pros: the very kind people hgelping and assissting
Cons: Make it cheaper
Location: You should visit the Blue Lagoon and also do the Goldenn Cicle Tour.
The Hilton is a lovely hotel with very kind assistants etc. The room are spacious and have tea and coffee making facilities and a refrigerator. Like most things in Iceland, , everything at the hotel is expensive. Breakfast is more than ample and most people stock up with breakfast so they don't have to eat lunch!! There is a working man cafe in the next block , but other than that, there are mainly fast food places in the vicinity. You do have to get a bus to get into the centre of town with the museums, etc.
