Ubicado 10 min. a pie del centro urbano Reykjavik

Pros: Me encantaron sus 2 bares y un spa con sauna, baño de vapor, bañera de hidromasaje y gimnasio. Acceso al spa con toalla, albornoz y zapatillas
Cons: No mejoraría nada, todo es absolutamente perfecto
Location: Se encuentra a pocos minutos a pie del Museo Nacional de Islandia y a 45 minutos en coche del aeropuerto internacional
Sus habitaciones son modernas y elegantes. Todas cuentan con TV vía satélite, minibar, escritorio y utensilios de planchado. Algunas están equipadas con cafetera Nespresso y películas de alta calidad de uso gratuito. El Radisson Blu Saga dispone de 2 restaurantes.

Needs renovation

Pros: Helpful staff.
Cons: Needs an update.
The hotel was about a 20 minute walk to old harbor and restaurants. The pool and fitness center were both closed. Our room was dated but clean, needs an update. Breakfast was not included in rate.

Hotel in need of renovations!

Pros: I liked the hotel staff and everyone that worked in the hotel. They were all so nice and tried hard to make customers happy.
Cons: The entire hotel needs renovations. They could start by getting new linens and new beds.
Location: The hotel was slightly outside the Reykjavik downtown area. It was about a 7-10 minute walk to the center of town.
We booked this hotel because it listed a workout facility and spa. When we checked in they told us the gym and spa was under renovations! Yet, the hotel staff could not have been more accommodating. They let us rent bikes at no cost and found another gym facility to use close by. It still was not the same as having it in our hotel, but it was fine. We booked a business class room. The beds were very uncomfortable and worn. I asked for an extra down comforter to add padding to my bed, which made it better. All of the linens had holes in them- towels and sheets and comforters! Some of the curtains were coming off the hooks in the room, which is difficult when there are 24 hours of daylight and you want to go to bed. The breakfast was really good with a huge variety of food to choose from. We were constantly on the go and it would have been nice if the room was more comfortable to come back to after a long day.

Location: 10 minute walk to downtown area.... excellent location...
Everyone was nice and great location. Nice and clean ... didn't hear the construction going on so this was another plus. I am sure that it will be even better once that is finished.

Certainly not worthy of 4 stars. Room in poor condition. Bathroom faucets hard to turn off & on. Public areas ok, but the condition our room spoiled our stay.

Very nice but the beds

Pros: Good Breakfast and and a very helpful and kind staff.
Cons: THE BEDS!
Location: The location was a 15 minute walk to downtown so that was alright. Easy access to main road.
Great staff, very good included breakfast. EverytHing was good but the beds were not the most comfortable. Our queen bed were two singles pushed together and not the most comfortable. Maid service was average at best. Expensive for what you get but that's Iceland.

Approx 15 minutes walk to town centre. Room spacious but shower waste blocked even on third day after twice complaining. Breakfast good. Selected as convenient for an Inight tour.

Probleme bei früher Ankunft

Pros: Laufentfernung zur Stadtmitte
Cons: Early check in muss dringend angeboten werden. Die Icelandair Flugzeuge aus Europa und USA landen oft morgens in Kevlavik.
Location: Das Hotel liegt direkt neben dem Regionalflughafen Reykjavik. Dort ist allerdings nicht sehr viel Flugverkehr, so dass der Lärm begrenzt ist.
Wir hatten angekündigt, mit der 06:30 Maschine aus Boston anzukommen. Wir waren 09:30 im Hotel. Es war kein Zimmer für uns bereit. Man beschied uns sehr arrogant dass unsere diesbezügliche Information zwar angekommen sei aber dass wir zu akzeptieren hätten, dass das Hotel Zimmer erst ab 14:00 Uhr vergeben könne und lies uns sitzen. Nach mehrfachem massivem Druck konnten wir dann nach einer Stunde Wartezeit ein Zimmer beziehen. Das Zimmer war winzig. Das Doppelbett stand an der Wand, so dass immer einer von uns "krabbeln" musste. Beide Koffer aufgeklappt auf dem Boden (mangels Ablage) und das Zimmer war so voll, dass man sich praktisch nicht mehr bewegen konnte. Es waren keine Schallschutzfenster eingebaut, so dass man den Baustellenlärm sowie den Lärm vom direkt daneben liegenden Regionalflughafen Reykjavik gut hören konnte. Die Vorhänge waren absolut ungenügend, so dass das Zimmer nur unzureichend abgedunkelt werden konnte. Im Juni wird es praktisch auch nicht dunkel (Sonnenuntergang 00:08 Uhr, Sonnenaufgang 03:15 Uhr). Reykjavik ist ein teures Pflaster, aber ein belegtes Toastbrot an der Rezeption um 9 Euro ist auch in Reykjavik heftig. Frühstück um 25 Euro Aufpreis ist in der Stadtmitte (Laufentfernung ca. 15 Minuten) besser und preiswerter zu erhalten. Bad war ok und sauber. Fazit: Arroganz, Zuverlässigkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft: 1,5 Sterne. Zimmer: 2 Sterne Bad: 4 Sterne Preise: > 5 Sterne
