"Great hotel in perfect location"
Wonderful experience. Andrea at the front desk was beyond helpful, giving us tips on sightseeing, helping make dinner reservations and responding immediately to any needs we had. Everyone at the hotel was so pleasant, our room was clean and modern and you could not beat the location.

"great stay!"
Absolutely perfect location. Walking distance to everything in Reykjavik! Just around the corner from the streets with all restaurants and shops. But around the corner meaning you don't get the noise from all the bars all night long. Our room was on the top floor though so that made it extra quiet. The deluxe room was a great size and the hotel amenities were great.

"Modern Hotel in Great Location"
We stayed here for one night while in Reykjavik. The hotel is new and modern. The rooms are decent sized for Iceland. The bathrooms especially are very large and have a huge shower (something we found to be lacking in Iceland). The beds aren't the most comfortable, but they were good enough. The breakfast buffet is okay, but not worth the price. I would try another restaurant in the area for breakfast. While on the pricier side, I thought this hotel was worth it. It is really close to all of the great restaurants, shopping, and main streets.

"Hotel was undergoing renovation while we stayed."
We visited for a week and chose this hotel. Very nice, I would stay there again - even though they were undergoing renovation, it was a nice place to stay - breakfast buffet was very good - plenty of variety and I recommend getting it with your hotel package - it saves one meal a day that you won't have to eat out, which is not cheap in Reykjavik.

"Affordable comfort "
We had two rooms for my family and we all liked our rooms. The reception stuff were very kind and friendly. Hotel was very neat and modern looking. The bar and seating were also very nice. Parking was free and so easy- right in front of the hotel. We didn't walk to the city center but parking is very convenient in the city. Breakfast was included to our plan. Plenty of tables to sit. We all liked the breakfast buffet very much. European and American, whatever you can think of was there such as freshly baked delicious breads, thin pancakes, egg, cheese, olives and breakfast meat, delicious Icelandic yogurt -both in the mini jars and packed- coffee machine was so good! I loved double espresso! There were even to go cups, very thoughtful! The rooms were clean and specious. Bathroom was also very clean. Hot water came fast and water pressure was great. Blackout curtains, very quite European style heaters and extremely quiet rooms were all so good. I cannot think of anything negative. If we ever go back to Reykjavik we can stay at the same hotel.

Prompt room service. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. But......Unable to cool the room when heated up by the sun. The evening buffet not suited to international guests and the bar menu doesn't change.

"Terrific location"
The hotel is a short walk from the busy are, so it was quiet and convenient. The staff is there 24 hours a day to answer any questions. They were so helpful. On Easter, they left every guest a big chocolate Easter egg!

"Town Center Hotel"
Nice hotel in the center of town with a nice restaurant. Close to all the other bars and restaurants. Virtually at the end of the High Street and walking distance to everything you need. We asked for a high room because of the reviews about street noise. We did still encounter street noise (shouting and laughing) on the first night around 4am but that did not reoccur. It does have secondary glazing but it was still loud enough to wake us both up. There was a fire alarm very early on our third night of our stay. It was false alarm because there was a problem in the kitchen whilst they were preparing breakfast but I'm just glad it was a false alarm because the staff DID NOT HAVE A CLUE what they were doing. All the guests were milling around in the foyer of the hotel in silence. No member of staff took charge of the situation and when the guests realized it was a false alarm they started making their way back to their rooms even though the alarm was still sounding. The staff need some training otherwise it could be fatal to the guests if there was a real fire. It made me feel uneasy for the rest of our stay.
