Nice apartments, but not really "luxury"

The apartment was spacious and had an ensuite bathroom, although some of the other ones had bathrooms on the other side of the corridor (which would have proved a bit awkward, I would have thought). Our bathroom had underfloor heating and a stone tiled floor, also with a heated towel rack. The kitchen had a full set of cooking pots and utensils, and a Bosch drip coffee-maker as well as a kettle. There was lots of closet and storage space, the beds were comfortable, and the daily housekeeping was fine. But for a 4-star supposedly "luxury" apartment, it was a bit tatty around the edges in places, and needed a few DIY jobs doing (like replacing a broken loo roll holder and some peeling paint). The rooms were comfortably heated, with the radiators easy to regulate and double-glazed windows. However, do be aware that some of the rooms overlook a side street that has two restaurants that turn into nightclubs (especially on weekends, apparently). This can be disruptive if you happen to have windows on that street and loud late-night revelers. The staff were helpful and luggage can be left in a secure locker should you arrive earlier than 2pm. Also do be aware that because it's on a narrow one-way street, the tour buses and airport shuttles don't always drop you off or pick up right at the door.
