Centrally located

Love the location of this hotel. On a main shopping street with a lot of restaurants nearby. Easy access to the sights. Weekend nights a little loud with nightclub next door

Great Downtown hotel with kitchenette

Great Location: 5 min walk to grocery store. however very noisy until 2-3am on Friday and Saturday as there is a bar/night club across the street.

Great place for families

Posted Mar 19, 2017
Everything was great. Rooms were really big. Only negative is the fire alarm went off quite a few times during our stay , all false alarm but a little annoying. Very clean and modern.

Amazing location

This is a perfect spot if you want to be in the middle of all the downtown action. Clean but older facility. Perfect for a short stay.

Nice apartments, but not really "luxury"

Posted Mar 13, 2017
Pros: It is centrally located, with all the museums within walking distances. The shopping street it's on leads down to the harbour.
Cons: Put a nonslip bathmat in the bathtub and/or grab rails -- it's slippery and there is nothing to grab onto for support.
The apartment was spacious and had an ensuite bathroom, although some of the other ones had bathrooms on the other side of the corridor (which would have proved a bit awkward, I would have thought). Our bathroom had underfloor heating and a stone tiled floor, also with a heated towel rack. The kitchen had a full set of cooking pots and utensils, and a Bosch drip coffee-maker as well as a kettle. There was lots of closet and storage space, the beds were comfortable, and the daily housekeeping was fine. But for a 4-star supposedly "luxury" apartment, it was a bit tatty around the edges in places, and needed a few DIY jobs doing (like replacing a broken loo roll holder and some peeling paint). The rooms were comfortably heated, with the radiators easy to regulate and double-glazed windows. However, do be aware that some of the rooms overlook a side street that has two restaurants that turn into nightclubs (especially on weekends, apparently). This can be disruptive if you happen to have windows on that street and loud late-night revelers. The staff were helpful and luggage can be left in a secure locker should you arrive earlier than 2pm. Also do be aware that because it's on a narrow one-way street, the tour buses and airport shuttles don't always drop you off or pick up right at the door.

Good location, but bathroom is not in the suite.

Posted Mar 11, 2017
Pro: good location, everything is just a step away. Con: bathroom is not in the suite, not convenient at all. The room rate is overpriced if the facility is not in the same place. The hotel should have posted it on the website so the customer could decide to go for it or not. Bit disappointed.

Great View and More

Posted Mar 11, 2017
Pros: Room, bed, bath, location, staff, view, kitchen, hot tub. Everything.
Cons: Other than free booze, I can think of nothing.
Location: Downtown Reykavik so well located for those that like a bit of party time in the evening. Easy to park in the side streets (Cost £20- sunday free)
Room was really nicely kitted out with a bath with bubbles, kitchenette (coffee provided), comfy bed and a stunning view right over the bay. Just 5m from our room door was a hot tub with views over the cathedral lit up of an evening. Staff were really helpful and location was excellent.

Nice central hotel though work in progress...

Posted Mar 11, 2017
Our hotel room was great, decent facilities, clean and modern. The hotel is in a great location so that in itself is a huge bonus. They're obviously doing it up at the moment as the corridors are v dated. Our 'view' was building equipment dumped on the roof outside which whilst work was taking place they could have cleared away. All in all was good for the price and provided you buy in your food from local Bonus Supermarket on back streets (and not the rip off main convenience stores) you'll save money on eating in!

Nice hotel, close to center of town

Posted Mar 8, 2017
Pros: Friendly staff, great location
Cons: nothing
Location: Very close to restaurants, shops and tourist places, museums etc
It was so nice, just to go out the front door and be at the center of town, on the main street. Everything was so close
