Great hostel
This was the best hostel we’ve stayed in. The hosts were accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked, spacious and clean. You can cook a lot there but no frying allowed which I appreciated. The rooms were spacious and the ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms was great. I never had to wait to use a bathroom. Also the bathrooms were shared but were individual and private.

Wonderful little spot! The rooms were lovely and had a great view, and there were multiple bathrooms so sharing was easy. The staff (Julia, Beggi and Kristin) emailed beforehand with extra things to know and how to get to the location, check-in, etc. They were so sweet and very concerned that we got there safely and had a place to stay after we got mixed up on arrival dates! A wonderful stop very close to glacier- definitely would recommend and would stay here again!

The hosts of the guesthouse were fantastic and made us feel so welcome. She even baked a cake for the guests to share! Everyone we met in Iceland was friendly but I think this was my favorite stay during my entire trip. Highly recommend!

Cozy stay by the glacier
Very cozy guesthouse close to the glacier. The owners are lovely and the check in process was smooth and easy. Rooms were cozy and shared bathrooms were kept clean. Kitchen was also very comfortable to use.

This guest house was a perfect stop on the Ring Road. Just off the road and situated beautifully right under mountains with water on the other side. It was a nice short drive from the glacier lagoon that we had just visited. Julia was very kind and accommodating, communicating clearly and promptly. She even provided some Icelandic marriage cake in the clean and organized kitchen for the guests to have (which was delicious). The rooms were clean, neat, and very well accommodated (it was definitely nice having a sink in-room towels). The bathrooms were also very clean and nice, with all the necessary amenities that we needed. The wifi also worked great. Parking was easy and only a few yards away from the front door. Overall, I wish we could’ve stayed here a bit longer. Definitely a great guest house hosted by a very kind person. 10/10 would recommend.

Fully equipped shared kitchen with many amenities and some food and condiments, juices, coffee, cereal, jam, etc. Nice room and beds, all very clean, hangers. Shared bathrooms were large, clean, nice showers, and 3 or 4 of them. Lady landlord helpful with our tourist requests, directions, etc. I highly recommend it. Very pleasing stay.
