OK for a place to sleep

Cons: Needs complete overhaul. Everything is dated, worn, and not too clean.
Everything is dated, worn, and not too clean. Breakfast is the usual free continental carb fest. Apples and oranges for fruit, hard boiled eggs for protein, everything else is sugar. Oh, did I mention that all the bread products were stale?

Gross and loud.

There was pee all over the outside of the toilet in the bathroom. The tub had cleaner sprayed but was never cleaned out. The TV in the room didn't work. It was very loud, you could hear the people above you, next to you and people going in and put of the building. Got breakfast the next morning it was not fresh. Checked out after breakfast the lady at the front desk was not friendly and didn't even ask me how my stay was. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Warning: Pet-Lovers Hotel

Pros: Very pretty building outside.
Cons: LARGE print stating that this is a pet-friendly hotel, so that people with asthma and allergies don't end up there.
We didn't realize when we booked our stay that La Quinta was a pet-lovers hotel. If there was any indication of that on the Expedia site, it wasn't noticeable. The outside of the hotel is beautiful, and the lobby looked nice, but our allergies kicked in within less than one minute of walking into the building, as a guest was walking two dogs through the lobby. We canceled our reservation and got out of there immediately. The clerk was nice, but explained that she couldn't refund our money because we paid through Expedia, so we would have to get our refund from Expedia. That wasn't a problem--our money was refunded by Expedia and we went to a different hotel. But one of us ended up needing breathing treatments for her allergic reaction to the pet dander we encountered in the lobby. In order to submit this critique I was required to rate the room cleanliness and comfort, so I gave them 3's, but I really don't know what they are like because we didn't get that far.

Decent Hotel

We enjoyed the stay. It was clean and neat. Not alot for breakfast. The front desk was nice. Check in we had a little problem but it was quickly fixed.

Check in was a breeze!!! We had late travel arrangements due to inclement weather and they were so understanding and accommodated our late check-in. The room was very clean and the staff was very welcoming. We travel a lot and I was provided LaQuinta Points and everything! Will definitely lodge her again!!

Incredibly disappointed

My wife and I had my granddaughter. The hallway and room smelled like weed. The smell was overwhelming..not just in the halls but it was ingrained in the room. The hall was filthy too. Surprised me quite a bit Laquinta is usually a good hotel and I travel quite a bit.

While a majority of our hotel is non-smoking, we do still have a select few secluded rooms that are reserved as smoking. However, the use of illegal substances is not tolerated.
