Very clean hotel located in the central location of the city, everything shopping centers restaurants and public transportation is very close to the hotel it was my second time staying here

Wonderful Hotel within quick transit by bus or Strassenbahn to anywhere in the city. We used their parking garage across the street from the hotel. Safe, secure and convenient as it can get in busy Heidelberg. The room is nice and comfortable. We had a street side facing room so the noise was slightly elevated. The building is aged but well maintained. Price was great for our stay. Nice restaurant next door for Doners, Gyros and other Mediterranean delights.

Close to everything!
Close to U-Bahn. there is a cute cafe two doors down that we frequented. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Staff was helpful

Great location at Bismarkplatz. Right across from the walking street leading to the Christmas Markets. Older, but looked like the hotel had an interior refresh. Stayed 2 nights.

Stranded without a place to sleep.
The hotel is a rundown place. The bathroom stinks like urine and is dirty. Besides the fact that we were obligated to check out since the front desk person told us that we didn’t have any reservations from November 9 to the 11th. I asked him if he was sure about it and he re ensured we had it to check out after our first night there. We got stranded in Heidelberg with no place to go after that and had to walk more than six hours around the town looking for a place to sleep. We finally got a place around 7 pm. So we that said, we missed our tour to the castle, and we had to spend more money to get another place to stay.

There is not enough light in the bathroom, way too dark. There were no hooks to hang coats, etc, which could be useful. When we checked in we were told breakfast was served and where, but we weren't told we had to pay extra for it until we checked out, and it was almost 70 euros for two breakfasts for two days. I asked for two more pillows as there was only one for each of us, we never got them. The interior decor is very dated and in general needs to be modernised a bit. The front door closes early, 8pm I think, so don't forget your key. The neighbor hood is a bit dodgy, and there are limited places to go.

Great hotel
Perfect location, just across the road from Haupstrasse and where l needed to be. Great staff, super room which was a great size and well furnished. Nice large bathroom with a great shower. Only issue for me was a local festival forced me to check out and then return two days later after it had passed, but not the hotel's fault

Bathroom was very dirt, the floors turned your feet black just from using the bathroom, customer service was good checking in, but when checking out, a different type of customer service, no verbal communication between hotel staff nor any visual contact, they only would reach onto the counter to get your room key and say ok

Having the hotel directly across the street from the main street is perfect. Parking is a little wonky since there isn't any on-site. The breakfast buffet was very good. Front desk service was great!

Location is great, rooms are good and clean. There is a very strange check in process - there is noone in the lobby, door is closed and you need to figure out how to check in using ATM machine... Breakfast is not good - variety of dishes is very limited, I recommend to have meals across the street in the shopping center - top floor - there is a good food court there.

Nice but hotel a little tired.
Check-in was very smooth. The location is good, just across the road from the edge of town centre. I stayed in single room which was small but comfortable. Overall the hotel is a little tired and could do with a revamp.
