Excellent Northwoods Fall Colors Getaway!
The only possible complaint I can muster was that some slowpoke in front of me took forever to check in, and I was in need of a more substantial breakfast that morning--neither of which was their fault. The rate actually charged was a few dollars CHEAPER than originally booked! Sheets were clean and crisp, beds seemed new, and sleep was sound. Place was quiet as the proverbial church mouse our night, whether for low traffic or design. By far my best stay in an economy motel in some time!

Bare bones, small room with bathroom with a knee high sink. Could not sleep as room would not cool down and the comforter was too much cover with no other option. Immeiately off the highway with no businesses nearby.

This is a very OLD hotel. The bathroom sink did not drain. I didn't use the shower after identifying the sink issue. There was a homeless man and his dog living in the trees behind the property and he was watching our every move as we unloaded the vehicle. There was evidence in the side entryway that he and his dog slept there that night since it was raining. The doors did not lock nor was there a card reader to enter the building. If I had been alone, I would not have stayed there. We chose other places for the remainder of our stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Especially when after we checked out, I remembered I left a bag of food in the refrigerator. I called back and they found it and kept in in the refrigerator in the office until we returned to claim it. It was a pleasant surprise.

I was absolutely disgusted; so much so that I booked another hotel for the 2nd night despite having paid for this one. In addition, having 10 or so cords plugged into a power strip is likely a fire hazard! Happy to show pics of the filth and fire hazard. I’m going to fight to get a refund!

While there are not great options in this area, I would look for a different hotel in the future. I had to stay here to be close to the airport for an early morning flight and per previous reviews, thought this might be the best option. The woman at the front desk was very nice and kind, she was the best part. However, the rooms are not well-maintained. While the sheets and bathrooms did seem clean, the air-conditioning units were caked in dust with the change filter light illuminated. Additionally, the coffee maker was also caked with dust on top. Leaving me wondering if the sheets were really clean or if the beds were just re-made...

Unlikely to stay here again or any other Rodeway.
Our room smelled strongly of urine and the carpet appeared to be wet as well. Bedding on one bed was stained/dirty and in the other bed we found a corn chip between the sheets Will see whoever checked us in was very pleasant.

Um, where do I begin. The pictures are not what you get when you get inside the room. The hotel looks more like a brothel, drug induced weekly stay. There was some guy sitting in a shed with his dog running loose right by the hotel. There were people walking right outside the window and would look in as they walked by. The smell in the room was mold and mildew. Not a great stay and with the room being non-refundable couldn't leave to go to a better hotel.

Quiet and Comfortable
The hotel is located just outside town on the WI River. The property has a large yard and picnic tables available for guests overlooking the river. The staff was very friendly and efficient. Our room was comfortable and quiet, although the carpet seemed damp and the room smelled a little musty if the AC was off. The hotel met our needs for our visit to this area. We would likely stay there again if we returned to Rhinelander. The convenience to the airport was really helpful to family arriving from out of State.

This was a fine place, not great not awful. Smokers and people just hanging in the parking lot. Looked a bit shabby and run down. Lady at the front was super nice. Room looked clean, and everything was functional. Just needed a bed and indoor plumbing, so didn't look to closely at much else.
