Since it is the beginning of the off season, there was plenty of parking. The room was great, check-in and check-out was quick and easy. The staff was friendly and very responsive to any and all of our requests.

It's not a 4 or 5 star hotel - it is a three, and there are problems every step of the way and it really wasn't enjoyable. The room was opposite lifts so lots of chat, housekeepers shouting and furniture being moved around. Balcony light didn't work. The bathroom had no ventilation so condensation everywhere, and flooded floor. Housekeeping gave no toilet roll and didn't come everyday. Products out of date. They made the bed and left everything else.I got two single beds pushed together. And the middle where they joined was uncomfortable - this is unacceptable for a 5 star hotel. Jacuzzi wasn't working, receptionist said 'that's the pressure, it is what it is'. I then called her a second time she said yeah it's not working. Towel system insane. Has to wait in a 20 min queue everyday for food, service bad. I informed there was a piegon in the buffet and they laughed. Poor food labelling, marked veggie when it was meat. Lack of information about facilities and classes. I wanted to give feedback but was refused an email address. Adult pool area quiet except for lifeguard talking loud on his phone. Sunbeds on beach and by the other pool uncomfortable, and towels don't cover the bed. Generally staff incredibly rude, and dinner service was bad. Waiting for drinks, arriving after I finished my meal. They had someone in a suit to show you to a table and then that's it, completely ignored. It took them 25 minutes one night to bring a card machine.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were attentive and friendly. Hotel was well run and the facilities and public spaces were excellent. Short stroll to sea and wonderful sea views and sunsets. Close to airport and old town.

We didn't go in the end - partly because you cancelled our transfers (and accused us of doing so), and when asked, you could not tell us what we actually booked. We lost confidence that everything would be sorted for us. We will never use Expedia again.

The property and rooms were very nice with lots of pools and areas to relax. The bar bits menu could have had a few more items. When restaurants at the property were closed it was better to go through room service menu instead of the bar bites menu for food. Also the pools closed too early. July is very hot and the sun goes down after 8pm. It would been nice to have at least one pool open till 9pm. There were a few times we wanted to use the pool after 7pm but were unable to since they were closed. The really nice beaches required a 25 to 1 hour drive from the property so we had to rent a car. The beach by the property was not very nice.

Our first time to Greece and safe to say we absolutely loved it. The hotel and staff were friendly and professional the only thing that let them down was their lack of cleaning up the neverending bird muck on the balcony. We would definitely return to the same property though.

Handy for travel into Rhodes and the beach was very accessible. There was a lack of sun loungers poolside and the usual beach towel nonsense. No fan of the poolside music pitched at the youth market either.

The view of the room is wonderful. It is more like a 4-star than a 5-star. The staff service was mixed, some were excellent and hospitable, while some were rude. The lady in the shop for bus tickets was especially rude, should not be in service business. The taverna at the 11F next to the pool offers excellent food, music, and overlooking the ocean with sunset. The service was excellent, the best in this island. This taverna is must-go if one is staying in this hotel.

Rhodes bay hotel is a dream come true for many tourists. Renovated, clean amazing staff. Such friendly accommodating people. Literally your wish is their command. Restaurants on premises offer great selections at breakfast, tirelessly. Gourmet food for dinner. The pool clean and quiet. The spa truly an art of massages and other services. Loved the sauna and the staff.

This isn't a bad hotel, but its definitely not a 5 star one!! There were some plus points: The food was great, especially dinner. The pool on the 11th floor was nice Our room was spacious and modern. The patio was huge with a lovely view Now the bad stuff: The staff! There were a few exceptions, like the lovely lady serving pool drinks on the 11th floor, and some of the waiting staff in the main restaurant, but overall we found the staff quite unfriendly and unhelpful. Most of the time we felt that they really couldn't care less. This was especially true with reception Housekeeping was pretty poor. Our beds were made and towels changed, but our room was not cleaned. The floors were really dusty and full of hair. Under the bed and sofa were very bad. They didn't remove dirty glasses and cutlery and only replaced (some) toiletries after 4 days. Ridiculous system to collect/return pool towels! Can only be done at the spa at certain times, no use for those using the 11th floor pool or anyone wanting a swim before 10am. Most people used their own Our stay included 2 a la carte meals. We tried to book the nicer restaurant in advance but were told no. But there were no dinner slots left when we arrived. Bit of a con! No pedestrian access to the bus stop into town, you walk on the road which is so dangerous on the dark Really loud club music at the main pool - more suitable for a club 18-30 hotel! The gym showers - disgusting

The view would have been okay if not for a large purple flood light from the hotels outdoor restaurant pointed into my window. I had to close the curtains to block the floodlight, so the view I paid extra money for was not visible. Further, the loud music from the hotels outdoor restaurant was audible in my room through late into the evening. I requested a high floor room in my reservation. I was assigned to a room two floors from the bottom. Reservation requests are not honored. There are better options for the price point.

COCROACHES IN ROOMS. DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOTEL. Horrible service, dirty rooms with cockroaches. We stayed in this hotel for vocation and rented cabanas. We expected 5 star hotel to be extremely clean and enjoyable, however we received only rude service, cockroaches in our room running around every day, and the hotel did not do anything. When we were leaving we expected to recive any discounts, or compliments from hotel, instead the hotel charged us extra for late check out. I would say Greek people do not know how to provide service to people. This was my worst vocation and I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Hotel is a bit dated and in need of modernising the lobby and public areas - they look from the 1980’s and very old fashioned compared to the Olympic Palace next door. Rooms were clean, modern and spacious in comparison. Balconies plagued by birds and their muck. Again attention to detail with balconies, condition and balcony furniture lacking. Pool areas nice, would be better if all the beds were padded and not just those around the upper pool also if a more central convenient location for towels. Food at property good. With a little more investment and attention to detail this hotel would be amazing.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful, and genuinely thrilled to hear how wonderful we thought the hotel was. The deluxe Seaview suite was stunning, all the facilities were really clean and new, the lobby is like something out of a Bond movie! We upgraded most days to full board as all the inclusive food and drink were delicious. The pool was a bit cold, but it is only April! The bar at the top has the loveliest views looking over to Turkey - a perfect place to sit to watch the sun go down with a cocktail. We'll definitely return...

Staff amazing ! Great location! Minor issues not enough sun beds probably due to distancing but everyone gets up early and save beds! Men having to wear trousers at dinner should be smart trousers as ripped jeans against smart tailored shorts doesn’t make sense ! We enjoyed staying here for a week all inclusive. The food was very good and the staff were always helpful polite and smiling under their masks. The place was clean and the hotel itself was on the main road to Rhodes town about a 10 minute drive away in a taxi. The bus stops outside the hotel if you prefer to use this for a small one way charge each time. The access to the beach is via a subway and the beach is pebbly with sand a little further out into the water so bring beach shoes. The 2 pools that were open to us in regular bungalows were not heated but as it was September it wasn’t too bad but the sea was warmer. It is mandatory to wear masks in the lifts and foyer but it appears some guests wether they are staying or visiting for a wedding cannot read and do not wear them without any challenge from staff. The quietest pool is on the 11th floor and the noisiest with swim up bar is on the ground floor - the waterfall feature and road proximity as well as music being played made me stay away. The A La Carte restaurant was ok but could only book once a stay ( even if for 2 weeks) and has separate menus for those all inclusive and those not. All in all it was a good place to stay but not 5 star luxury. The rooms are tired and dated ( but very clean) - and the king size bed we had was comfy. The aircon worked well and was quiet- I am not one to return to the same hotel unless something spectacular- so wouldn’t stay again. We are going back to Rhodes as it’s lovely.

This hotel didn't quite live up to expectations. Busy and impersonal reception which seemed to be all about filling in registration forms, including supplying rather too many details about our credit card! Room was ok - not very big, but clean and comfortable at least. No idea what was going on with the carpet in the corridor though! Terrible design! Breakfast buffet was nice but overall, our stay felt very overpriced for what was on offer, especially as we had spent the previous few days at another hotel which was vastly superior and a bit cheaper. It lacks some nice finishing touches that are the mark of a great hotel.
