Lovely hotel on the beach.

Pros: We liked the pool, as it was one of the largest we had seen. Also the facilities available, the general layout of the site, & being close to the sea.
Cons: Tea, coffee making in the room as standard. we had to ask for it.
Location: There were nothing to walk to close by. But the bus service was excellent. we got the but to Faliraki or Rhodes in the evening, which was very simple.
We had a lovely stay at Elysium Hotel and Spa in Rhodes. Our room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The pool was one of the largest we have seen at a hotel, and nice to swim lengths or just float in. Also the sea was a very short walk from the pool side, through the garden, onto a pebble beach. it felt very safe leaving our bags etc at our sun lounger poolside to go swim in the sea (though there were plenty of loungers, toilets, showers on the private beach). we tried the different restaurants available in the evenings, and was not disappointed. Nobel on the rooftop, was a particularly lovely dinner, a special treat, with attentive friendly waiters. All the staff at the hotel were always very friendly and happy to help with anything. we also hired a car through the hotel, just for a day, which was very easy to do, and a reasonable price. I honestly can't think of any negative points of our stay. We will definitely come back again. it was a pretty perfect break.

Great hotel on the beach

Nothing was too much for the staff and they gave us a free upgrade towards the end of our stay which made it even more of a special holiday. Going to go back next year.

Beautiful hotel, staff and food!

Pros: The cocktails are to die for, made perfectly and professionally. We were b&b and the buffet options for breakfast were fab.
Location: Old town is only 15 mins away in a taxi, or about €2.40 on the bus. the hotel is on the beach so and there are plenty sun beds to choose from.
The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and close to a beautiful beach. The staff are the friendliest people I've ever met, they can't do enough for you! The food is incredible, a huge variety to choose from and all delicious. Fresh was our particular favourite, dining outside next to the lit up water feature was lovely. The lamb from there was amazing and my husband got to cook it himself to his liking right at the table. The restaurant on the top floor, bit pricey but worth every penny - the pork I recommend highly! We went back there a second time for the lobster night which was just fab. We treated ourselves to a spa day on our second day, the staff there are lovely and I can honestly say it was the best massage I've ever, EVER had. Also the spa facilities are great and the pool is great and so quiet and private. The cleanliness of the hotel is impeccable, the staff take such pride in their work and are very thorough. We were in a standard double room with a beach view, we mentioned it was our honeymoon and came back to a complimentary bottle of champagne and chocolates. The room was gorgeous and the view was stunning. I can't recommend this hotel enough, we'll certainly be returning.

Very nice and very clean resort right on the beach

Amazing staff. Clean rooms and immaculate grounds. Had a wonderful time there. Emarald restaurant is awsome, so much food and it was all very tasty and very well prepared. Breakfast was increadible - anything you could ever want was there and more. Noble gourmet restaurant was a delicious delightful experience.

false discription always causes many problems

Location: You need car to see the island
It seems that in the hotel industry it is common to respond in a standardized way to guest comments about their experience, by saying "Thank you, as your feedback helps us become better". In in my case it also felt quite hypocritical. Unless there was an immediate and obviously efficient intervention by Expedia, my stay at Elysium-Rhodes hotel would have been disappointing. The room's description was, to say the least, misleading and I am trying hard to refrain from saying "totally fake". My booked room was described on their official website as a spacious 30sqm while the room I received turned out to be at MOST only 25sqm. The division manager in an awkward conversation that took place a good 45 minutes after my initial complaint, didn't provide a logical solution until only after I got Expedia informed and involved where they magically found me another room that actually was as what I had booked. Furthermore, being a part of the so called harmony hotels net doesn't necessarily mean that they can provide peace and harmony everywhere in the hotel. From my point of view only the two specific floors with 64 rooms for the elite club members are really harmonious, luxurious and stylish. The rest of the hotel with its 260 rooms is neither harmonious nor stylish but rather a big family one, quite noisy and busy and very similarly operated like the massive-tourism-wave gulping small-businesses found everywhere on the island. However, I feel the need to clarify some facts regarding your review. First of all, allow me to inform you that when publishing data about hotel facilities, and particularly room dimensions, the measurement include the total usable indoor space of the room, i.e. bathroom, WC, wardrobe etc. This practice is applied by all hotels, at least within European Union. Given this fact, our rooms have exactly the dimensions provided on Expedia, as well as our website or any other partner tour operators’ websites. I apologize if this explanation may be too technical minded for some of our guests, but this is a matter of fact. On the other hand, please note that our hotel is not family oriented; for this reason we do not offer discounted rates for children or special facilities and services that are common among family hotels. However, we do not restrict our clientele to “adults only”, giving our guests the opportunity to enjoy their holidays with their families. Taking into account that you stayed in our hotel in August, the number of children was slightly higher than during any other period, still much lower than could be expected from any family hotel at this time of the year. Please, accept my sincere apologies for any inconvenience this fact might have caused you. Stunning gem in a beautiful island

What an amazing hotel. Had a wonderful time this summer with my family at the Elysium. The facilities and staff were faultless. The staff were so kind, generous and genuine and made us all feel so welcome and special without any stuffiness which you normally feel in such a high end hotel. Will go back again and we were all so sad to leave. We loved it

Lovely hotel, great service, great food...just a bit too far from anything. Perfect if you intend to stay in all holiday, but you need a taxi if you want to eat anywher else.
