Beautiful property in a great location away from the bustle but close to the action. Well appointed rooms and tasty foods served in a variety of restaurants. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Wonderful stay at La Marquise. I was at the hotel for a wedding and it was so well organused, the food was amazing, the setting absolutely beautiful. I was upgraded to a room with a private pool which was like being a very rich person for a few days 😆 There was easy access to the beach, bus stops right outside the hotel. Breakfast was really, really good as were the cocktails. The hotel was scrupulously clean and despite arriving after midnight the staff were attentive and extremely helpful. The arrival.snack was very much appreciated as well! All in all it was a wonderful experience.

We stayed at the hotel for 7 nights, at one of the most expensive rooms offered, prive pool and all. We love Rhodes and stayed at many hotels there. In general, the overall service was mediocre, from the receptionists to the waiters. The hotel staff was not friendly in general (with a couple of exceptions), and it felt like they preferred to be somewhere else..

A nice hotel but don’t think it’s 5 star unfortunately. The staff were fine but not particularly welcoming or friendly (despite a couple of guys at the gondola bar). Some of the food was really poor quality or cheap alternatives (powdered eggs??!) and the system for booking into restaurants (including buffet) seemed unnecessarily complicated and pointless. The pools looked lovely by design but once in them the grouting on all the tiling was very dirty. There was also a pool attendant(?) around who’s role seemed to be telling people off for seemingly insignificant things. Drinks served in horrible paper cups to take away (alchoholic). Mini bars in room but no drinks (not even water) supplied so had to purchase this at on site shop. Had a mix up with our room which basically took almost a day to sort and when you are only there for a week that’s quite a large chunk of time we were hanging around. Beach area was old and tired and no longer all inclusive as it was “open to the public”despite everyone being there having to arrive through hotel underground tunnel and everyone had our hotel towels, just felt like a money grab for absolutely no reason. Feels harsh to write this but I think for the 5 star and price tags that are supposed to come with this hotel, it’s not up to standard. We’ve been fortunate to stay in other really lovely places that had more substance than here. Perfectly fine 3 or 4 star hotel but not 5 star and not worth what we paid unfortunately.

The hotel is very commercialised and did not want to accommodate any special requests. Reception staff and front office staff are unfriendly. Special thanks to the main chef as he catered for our dietary requirements. The entertainment team were friendly, polite and the activities organised were good.

Staff was really nice especially with the kids (except 2-3 specific people), swimming pool in the lagon is big and there was always room left in and around the pool. The kids pool is really nice for babies. We found the restaurants / food really good for an all inclusive hotel (a lot of choice, tasty). Our room was located on the 1st floor of the main building (the oldest one it seems), right above the kitchens of the main restaurant. It was really noisy, we were waking up around 6:30 AM every day because of the noise in the restaurant, we were able to hear music from the kitchens in our bathroom through the ventilation. Bathroom was a bit old / poorly renovated for a 5-star hotel. With that said, we had a great time at the hotel La Marquise, our kids loved it.

We stayed in early May 2022 which was off season. All the staff were incredibly helpful. We were 4 friends staying in 2 suites. There were 2x double beds when we first arrived, instead of 4 singles, but one call and this was changed immediately. Nothing was too much for the staff. They booked taxis, gave beach and restaurant recommendations, etc. The hotel wasn't very busy, as I assume it could get in the peak of summer. Breakfast had a huge selection. There were multiple pools on offer, for families, adults and groups. As the beach/beach bar was across the road, there was a golf cart to take you there and back, even thought it was a short-ish walk. An example of them having thought the customer service component through. Would definitely stay there again. One small comment which could be improved was the lack of food service on the 3rd floor pool bar. Not a big deal, as you could eat your own food there. The grounds are v. impressive. We didn't get to see all the hotel and we were there for 4 days! Incredibly well kept grounds and grass was lush throughout (not the easiest in v. hot Greek islands) and impeccably clean.

The room and facility is great, comforatble and quite relaxing. Breakfast is nice, French and Grilled restaurant are great... BUT The recpetion staff needs an improvment in their attitude and the knowledge regarding the island and hotel functions. Misleading. Not enough activities for kids, youth and also adults. All TV programs cost money with a black card - quite surprising

Finally the island had to face a fire of an unprecedented magnitude, imposing a general cut of electricity on the whole island for many hours with damage to the network. Efforts have been made by everyone without exception to bring this unprecedented situation back to normal. Wonderful relaxing stay
Excellent welcome, safety measures, and cleanliness as well as wonderful staff. We were so impressed with the management of dining and exquisite food at La Etoile restaurant (& manager Mr. Apostolakis and skilled chefs for a special lobster night), the care for our gluten-free food needs at all the dining facilities, the friendliness of servers, hotel staff and staff at gift shops, markets and beach facilities. The choice of pools gave the option of more family-friendly areas, adult only, or we enjoyed the pool on the 3rd floor of the main building which was not far from our suite with a balcony view. We felt comfortable and well cared for during our wonderful relaxing stay.

Overall it is a very good and clean hotel. The staff is really friendly and the whole atmosphere is relaxing. In my opinion the only big problem is the temperature of the main pool, very very cold... And the mini golf...hardly deserves that name. But it's definitely worth it's money!

We were given a very far room, to walk a lot, did not consider our requests at all. The receptionists are not nice at all, talking with disdain and disrespect. We didn't change linens, just arranged them, Don't clean the room at all, we were a couple in the room and we were given one towel. The air conditioner every morning made problems and stopped working. The pool is very cold !! Overall the hotel is very nice but I would not rate it 5 stars.

A Great Hotel
A really good, clean and very well managed hotel, suitable for adults only or adults with children. The many pools around the resort ensured that there were sunbeds for all. The hotel's beach was short walk down the road and provided many free sunbeds for all. Although many people were enjoying the resort, we never felt overcrowded (I can't stand crowds or queues). We would highly recommend this resort.

bad value for money - DO NOT VISIT!!!
Every year I visit in Rhodes. Allways in five stars hotels. Never had such bad experience. I traveled with my wife and baby girl. I booked Superior Room with Pool View. According to the reservation the room included Two Twin and One Sofa Bed. When we arrived we told that our room upgraded. I went to see the room and instead of pool view we had main road view and the room was located in the main building, no way near the pool area. I went back to reception and ask for my 'not upgraded' room - the one that I paid for. The guy in the reception told me that there are no room left and if I want I can cancel my reservation and leave. He was walking back and forth acting like a high school gangster. So embarrassing. We had no choice but to wait to the next day and ask again for the room we booked. Over night more groups arrived and they got room no question ask. On the next day we received room near the pool. It was the smelliest and smallest room I ever stayed in. It was no way near the size of the specified reservation room. No place for Sofa, no place for anything but a bed and closet. I decided to let it be. i didn't want to waste all my vacation on argument with gangster wannabe reception guy. Beyond that, most the food is repit itself almost every day and the stuff locking very tired.

We always welcome feedback from our guests and are open to critiques if those are truthful and not misleading to other holidaymakers. We can understand that this review was made from frustration and protest due to the location of both rooms you received. Allow us only to say that to get a Suite of 46 square meters and change to a Superior pool view which is 33 square meters, surely the second room is smaller. If you could have contacted our Guest Relations Manager or Reservation Manager, they would have been happy to assist you in proposing other alternatives. Expressions though such as “gangster wannabe guy” are not representing our Reception team members and we cannot accept them. Still, should your future travel plans call for a trip to Rhodes, we hope that you might perhaps consider giving us another chance to restore your faith in our hotel. With Respect

I stayed at the hotel in August 2019 High class hotel! Lots of nice pools, For me, the service of the crew received 100+ High-level cleanliness. To sum up, every euro is worth a place !!!

Waiting at the beach for the electrical bus more than 30 minutes , waiting for the suitcases to be transferred at the check out .......never came..........we did it ourselves Dirty swimming pool at the top floor /no supervision Great staff at both the restaurants /Asian and French Great lady at front desk Christina .always helpfull Great main restaurant supervisor mr Sfakianakis , To be honest if there were more staff in this hotel there would be many reasons to come back again and again ...

very good family hotel in Rodos
very good family hotel in Rhodes. The family room has two separate rooms- very convenient. The food is good, also good service. There are shows at night. There is a dressing code for dinner , with long pants - we didn't Know about that in advance. Our boy, 16 years old, brought with him only nice shorts, and he had to dress his father pants .

The room setting was lovely. The pools fabulous. All the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast choice was fantastic. We had lunch at the pool bar which was really good and we ate at the dinner buffet which again was fabulous. The choice of food was excellent. The entertainment for children was great and if you wanted to participate in pool fitness classes you could. The hotel is absolutely beautiful and spotlessly clean and a great location. Would definitely stay there again.
