Cons: Food Options
Location: Old town Greece and shops nearby .
The hotel was nice and the amenities were amazing. The food for all inclusive was mediocre and they served the same thing everyday so after the second day your over it. Close to the beach and the pools were very nice. Overall great hotel!

Classy hotel, 3 pools, private beach, near RhodesPosted May 7, 2017
Pros: I liked the the space & quiet as you could always find a quiet spot at one of the pools (in May anyway!) Staff are very attentive & friendly.
Cons: Breakfast was always luke warm even though the buffet food was kept covered on hot plates. Even our cup of tea wasn't very hot.
Location: Rhodes old town was fascinating. Loved Ronda Beach Bar & Restaurant & would defo recommend.. beach bar music & views were great, restaurant in a dome!
Lots of open space in this hotel.. 3 lovely pools with lots of comfortable loungers. Beach is stoney so would advise swim shoes to make it easier if going into the sea. Rhodes is a windy place so lots of waves but it makes the heat lovely & bearable at the beach. Not much in Ixia itself apart from bars, restaurants & supermarkets. There is a excursion company right next door (heading towards Rhodes) to the Sheraton that does various trips around the Island. Rhodes town is a 45-50 min walk along the pavement beside the beach (hard work if walking on the stoney beach), the path breaks away from the road about a third of the way into Rhodes town & you follow a lovely coastal path which is really picturesque. Alternatively there is a bus stop right outside the Sheraton. Rhodes old town is fascinating, so medieval.. but inside the walls is packed with shops, bars, restaurants all trying to get your trade which makes it hard to stop & look at anything as your pounced on!

ExcellentPosted Oct 25, 2016
Pros: Bedrooms were immaculate & very comfortable as were bathrooms. Staff were pleasant and could not have been more helpful. The entire site is a joy.
Cons: There wasn't anything to dislike.
Location: Rhodes City as mentioned before is only a 20 minute bus ride away & is a historial & very beautiful place to visit.
The Sheraton Hotel at Ixia was excellent & all amenities excellent - very pleased with all facilities. Local bus into Rhodes every 20 minutes during the seaon (and to other places on the Island). Would happily revisit.

Not a 5 starPosted Oct 23, 2016
Pros: Big property with ample scope and good location. Clearly at some stage in past this must have been a good property - not anymore.
Cons: This hotel is very dated and does not justify a 5 star tag. Look under the beds and you will understand my concern on hygiene. Bathrooms and lifts are key problems in my view - beware of using lifts. I was stuck with my kids in the lifts with minimal response from the hotel.

Service ExcellencePosted Sep 29, 2016
Pros: Modern and clean. Location. The animation team (Karel and Angie) were superb - great chats with them but not pushy.
Cons: Time waiting for lifts can be frustrating - must be a real problem in peak season. Menu prices are too high - twice the price of local restaurants.
Location: Good for beach and only a short taxi ride into town. Great views from rooms. Romeos restaurant is 5 minute walk and is superb for lunch and dinner.
Every single member of staff was to make the guests comfortable- always smiling, attentive, and made you feel special.

So unclean. We had two big pillow stains on arrival. Curtains were also disgusting, Not happy. The only thing that was good was the pools and the staff were friendly

Wonderful access to beach and super staff.Posted Sep 26, 2016
Pros: Access to the beach and windsurfing site.
Cons: Looking back after my three weeks of overall excellent meals in Greece, I believe the 'formal' restaurant in the Sheraton was less than average.
The Sheraton was the one of the most upscale hotels of our three week trip throughout the island. The site and hotel are beautiful and access to the beach is the best in this area. Rooms, amenities, and common areas are all you could expect. A standout is the staff which were all very professional, cheerful and helpful.

Amazing hotel with great amenitiesPosted Sep 20, 2016
Amazing hotel, great pool, spa and shops. Lacklustre hotel staff, definitely need to work on their 5 star service to go with the 5 spa price tag of the hotel.
