It was alright.

Posted Jul 18, 2017
When i checked in they told me about a 200$ deposit i did not know about. The first night the neighbors had a party and the walls are paper thin. They were soooo loud we opened the door a tad bit so they could see they were being loud. A while later they puposely were knocking on our door. Following night i could hear the neighbors tv. There are no phones in the rooms so i could not call front desk. Furniture is old Carpets are nasty durty. My daughter played on the stairs and she comes and shows me her pitch black feet. We all wore shoes the whole time after that.

Unsafe

Posted Jun 25, 2017
The police was at the hotel daily. The front desk staff was rude and inconsiderate. Our room had a foul odor. We went without hot water for an entire day. Do not stay at this hotel. Shame on Wyndham.

Dear Valued Guest- Thank you and please accept my sincere apologies for the issues you have had. If it was in the middle of June, we had to replace a hot water heater which is normal like at your home. We are sorry we feel on duty police vehicles are safe for everyone as they are doing their job. The odor issue has been fixed as well. Thanks again for your feedback as we use our guest feedback each day in our product enhancements. Sincerely

roomy suites

Posted May 22, 2017
Pros: Location and roomy accommodations. Easy access.
Cons: Building maintenance and furnishings.
Location: Location is good. A variety of restaurants and shopping nearby. Easy access to interstate and major thoroughfares.
location is good, food, medical, interstate, shopping close by. Facility is dated and needs attention to worn furniture and better stocked necessities such as kitchen needs. Entry doors sticking, hard and noisy to open/close. Staff is friendly, on hand and ready to assist if needed. Breakfast is good, some hot items, and good selection of cereal, Danish, etc.

Don't believe the pictures.

Posted May 20, 2017 on Hotels
Won't be staying there again any time soon. TV didn't work, cushion covers were not attached on the love seat, carpets we nasty. The chair for the desk was a hard plastic chair. Do NOT believe any of the pictures from the website. They were obviously taken 20 years ago. In need of some serious updating/refurbishment. Oh, and there weren't any coffee cups in the room.

On arrival James was friendly and was a big help for my request. Room was clean and nice wish I could have stayed longer. Just an overnight. I like the Hawthorn. Could have had a bigger TV is all.

Staff was acceptable but pool was dirty.

Posted May 15, 2017 on Hotels
Staff was friendly and acceptable. The pool was one of the reasons for our getaway and it was dirty and not in service. That was the downfall of the trip, as the children was looking forward to getting a way and swimming.

Ok in a pinch, but I wouldn't recommend it.

This would have been a very nice place to stay if they would fix / clean it up. However, the carpets were stained and in very bad shape, the furniture was stained and had burns and tears, half the lights did not work, all the smoke alarms were removed, I had to buy a lamp to use in area upstairs where the bed was as there were no light fixtures at all .... I could go on and on, but basically this place really needs some attention. The only good thing I can say about our room is that the AC worked very well which I will admit I was grateful for. I can definitely say I won't be returning to this hotel again though.

Stay at own risk- HORRIBLE HOTEL!!!!!!!!!

Posted May 10, 2017 on Hotels
When I first arrived I immediately noticed there wasn't a phone, the toilet was clogged and there wasn't a knob on the oven to operate it. Was initially told I would have to wait until the next day to have the toilet fixed and I could be moved to another room but the room was non smoking. After the front desk called maintenance in to unclog the toilet, I decided to keep the original room despite not having a functional oven. Thankfully I have a cell phone because otherwise I would have been SOL. After running to the store to stock up on snacks and microwaveables, since I can't cook as planned, I noticed the TV didn't work. The cable cord was missing. I called the front desk again, which is now the 4th time and was advised the cable had been out all morning and Time Warner may not be out until Monday. My reservation was from Saturday to Monday, mind you. So I immediately ask for my reservation to be cancelled. Why wasn't this explained to me PRIOR to my check in at 4pm. It is now roughly around 7ish. This time I physically go to the office asking to be refunded as I did not get what I paid for. The staff member said he had to check with his manager. He again attempted to put me in another room which was upstairs and due to medical reasons was unacceptable. He told me because of the time I couldn't cancel both nights I asked to be discounted and he said he had to talk to his manager. I slept in an uncomfortable bed in dead silence with no form of entertainment.

Dear Valued Guest- Thank you for choosing us and for posting your feedback. Please accept our sincere apologies for the inconvenience. We at least had the toilet unclogged while the oven needed parts that arrived next morning. We are sorry we moved you to a non-smoking room which you refused. Please be assured we did get the knob for the oven and fixed it while Time Warner was closed for the weekend. Again, we sincerely apologize. Sincerely- Mike
