Okay for a quick trip

Posted Oct 20, 2017
When I checked in, I was charged for the room even though I’d prepaid. I realized that in the middle of the night and was given a refund the next morning when I pressed the issue. The couple in the room next to me got in a huge fight. Not the hotel staff’s fault, I know. But the things that I was hearing through the wall made me fear for someone’s safety. Since this is a place that people can rent by the month and live in, I called the desk to ask to ask if this was something that happened often in that room, or if one of us ought to call the authorities. The young girl on the phone explained the situation to someone else there, then told me that those were things that they don’t take care of. Wait, what?! First of all, what hotel/motel doesn’t take care of noise complaints from paying customers? Second, someone could have been at risk. Anyway, the noise stopped right then anyway and we were finally able to get to sleep.

Spent the night

Easy in. Easy out. Slept the night, showered in morning and left. Can't beat the price.

No coffee or shampoo or anything. It was horrible. The shower had no water pressure and then dirt was coming out as well.

Bare Bones - Rooms Clean, Beds Comfortable

Posted Oct 23, 2015
Pros: Clean and comfortable
Cons: Needs some basic repairs. Screens, working blow dryers.
Location: Sugar Bean Bakery nearby for amazing coffee and breakfast items including impossibly delicious baked goods. Also close to FishLake National Forest.
There were 8 of us traveling together so, 4 rooms. One of our party was in the hospitality industry so she did a thorough check of the rooms which were clean - no bugs. The beds were comfortable but, two out of three lamps in the room were inoperable due to either bad bulbs or not having a switch. In our room, the only one of the 4 rooms that had a blow dryer, said dryer gave me an electrical shock. The rooms stank so badly of cigarette smoke that we had to open the bathroom window to air out which was when we discovered the screens in the bathroom windows on the lower floor were torn as if someone had tried to break in. Not a good feeling.

What a dive. My wife is no longer allowed to book online. Room was horrid, ice machine not working and pool was empty.
