They couldn't find our Expedia reservation

This was our 4th hotel on our trip. We had no problems checking in before, but here they couldn't find our reservation. Heston kept bad mouthing Expedia. Saying the hotel has had many problems and they were thinking of dropping them altogether. I finally called expedia on my phone, not something he offered to do. Expedia solved the problem after about 10 min. I told Heston that I was checking in with 2 adults and a dog. I guess he put us in a normal room, and in the morning as we were leaving a woman employee yelled at us for being in a nondog friendly room. I told her to take that up with Heston. We left and didn't look at the free breakfast.

Good enough hotel pity about the wifi

Pros: Clean comfortable room.
Cons: Unusable wifi and poor breakfast. Difficult to find entrance to hotel parking lot.
Location: Location is just off the interstate. There's nothing to do nearby.
Good location for an overnight while on the road, but not close to the centre of town. The hotel feels quite new, even though the manager said the room I was staying in hadn't been renovated yet. Room was clean and quiet. However the wifi was unreliable and when it did work, the connection was slow. The night manager said he thought it might be the location of the router relative to my room, and I had to call a tech support number to get them to remotely restart the router (which didn't help). It's not difficult to set up reliable, fast wifi, so this failure - and requirement that a hotel guest needs to call tech support for the hotel - is not acceptable. Cannot recommend this hotel for business travellers Hotel signage must be improved. Although it's easy to see the hotel from the road, it's very difficult to see where to enter the hotel parking lot (have to go through a petrol station to get there). I drove past the hotel three times before giving up, having dinner across the street, and then trying again.

Very nice Hotel

I was very please with my stay. The Hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly. My kids loved the in door pool. I loved the full brakefast the was included in the morning. I would highly recommend this Hotel.

Clean, comfy and nice surprises

We stayed one night on our drive from CA to CO. I would stay again. The bed was comfy and the A/C worked well. The room was clean and renovated (not fancy, but nice enough). My kids loved the pool, although my daughter complained the chlorine stung her nose. The breakfast had a ton of variety - something for everyone and the coffee was decent. The staff gave the kids a welcome gift with a coloring book and a few treats. There was lemonade and coffee available at any time and in the evening there was a baked potato bar and warm cookies. The hotel was in a safe location and very close to the interstate. My only complaint was the A/C unit was very loud when it cycled on. It was keeping me up but I finally just turned the fan to blow constantly and then the air coming on didn't wake me up. Overall, a good hotel and decent value.

Jayda's trip home

I booked this hotel a few times before traveling between CO and CA this is almost exactly the half way point and very convenient. Everything is great, clean, comfortable.
