Nice hotel, easy access

Pros: Access, staff, room
Friendly staff, clean room, pool was open. Lots of wildlife in the area.

Excellent overnight stay, clean and comfortable, large room, convenient location. Above average breakfast in the am, would highly recommend.

Very Good Value

I had a good night's sleep, which is unusual for me since I can't sleep in motels, mostly because of noise which I don't get at home. Didn't hear any slamming doors, or even people talking or walking by. Bed was clean and relatively comfortable. Still don't like bathroom being next to the entry door. View was mostly other hotels and some truck trailers. Breakfast area was the nicest of any hotel on my trip, and food selection included biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon, eggs, the works. I can easily recommend this hotel.

Real home like feel

You can definitely tell that Nancy, the manager, puts her heart in to this place. She goes the extra mile with providing something to eat in the lobby late afternoon (baked potatoes), free water bottles in fridge, candies on desk. Extra touches in decor. Very comfortable and clean. Definitely choose this one if you're looking for a hotel within $20 price range higher. Great breakfast.

They couldn't find our Expedia reservation

This was our 4th hotel on our trip. We had no problems checking in before, but here they couldn't find our reservation. Heston kept bad mouthing Expedia. Saying the hotel has had many problems and they were thinking of dropping them altogether. I finally called expedia on my phone, not something he offered to do. Expedia solved the problem after about 10 min. I told Heston that I was checking in with 2 adults and a dog. I guess he put us in a normal room, and in the morning as we were leaving a woman employee yelled at us for being in a nondog friendly room. I told her to take that up with Heston. We left and didn't look at the free breakfast.
