Inexpensive stopover

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Cons: Basic hotel, would be best having a total renovation of all rooms and facilities, especially since hotel is at intersection of 2 main interstates
We picked this hotel as an overnight stopover and did not need anything too special. Facilities here were very basic, small indoor pool and hot tub (hot tub was not hot and was only to be fixed Monday after our stay). Breakfast was as basic as can be. Did have coffee, juice, cereal, frozen waffles and toast, but not much else. Rooms had nothing special besides the TV, small coffee maker and hairdryer. the pillows on the beds were flat as can be, and probably very old. Upon initial check in, was sent to a room that had not been cleaned, then when room was switched, only 1 key card was changed correctly, so ended up making 2 return trips to front desk

Sufficient hotel for one night stay

Posted Aug 24, 2015
Location: Subway right next door closed at 9:00 - not much around within walking distance nor driving for that matter if you are looking for something to eat.
Hotel was perfect for a last minute, one night stay. No smoking in lobby but smoke areas right outside door made for a gauntlet of smoke; also someone walked into the lobby to the restroom to use the restroom with cigarette. Complimentary breakfast forced us to go to McDonald's. Overall the room was clean and sufficient.

Watch where you park!

Posted Aug 3, 2015
Pros: The queen size bed. Housekeeping was very nice and brought us clean towels when needed.
Cons: Breakfast was very basic - cereal, frozen waffles, toast and juice. More front parking is needed and more lighting at the driveway.
Location: Only 20 minutes to Cleveland or Akron, but absolutely nothing near the hotel. Need to go up a couple exits for food.
Arrived at at midnight and front parking lot was full. Went to the back of the hotel to a dark and beat up parking lot surrounded by trees. Very dimly lit walkway up the side of the hotel. Checked in and were given a room already occupied. Didn't find out until we tried our key several times to get in and someone yelled from inside. Were given another room. Less than an hour later, front desk was knocking on our door and said we needed to move our vehicle because a truck driver needed to leave for the night and couldn't get his truck out from the lot. Other guests were also asked to move their cars. The front lot was small and the back lot didn't have enough room for a semi truck to get out if other cars were parked in it. The 2nd day we came back to our hotel for the night and our key didn't work for our room. Had to go to the front desk again and have it taken care of. The room itself was clean and the bed was comfortable. Next time I would rather pay more for a better place to stay.

Upset at the 8

Hotel staff seamed hamstrung by policy.... We were on Arizona time so we're off schedule by 3 hours of the comp breakfast and were told by staff we were out of luck and had to go find breakfast elsewhere... Mind u it was only cereal and milk, a packaged Cinnabon or waffles all of which I'm sure were available in the back room refrigerator but they weren't "allowed" to give us anything cuz breakfast was 6-10 am...

Very Happy with this hotel!!!

Pros: The staff was friendly, had our room ready early. The A/C was in working condition and kept the room cool. Great water pressure! WOW!
Cons: The breakfast was just toast and cereal... but was ok with that because everything else was amazing!
Location: Right by the highway, which suited my needs just perfectly.
For the price we paid, this hotel was awesome. The counter people were actually friendly... YES... I said FRIENDLY. The A/C in the room worked great. The water pressure and temp was amazing! The elevator worked, there was plenty of parking, they gave us extra towels and pillows... I never had a hotel that was this good!

The hotel was clean, comfortable and smelled good. My stay was during a rain storm but the hotel atmosphere was dry, fresh and welcoming.

you Get What You Pay For

We chose this hotel because of the vicinity to the National Park. I always try to pick places with breakfast. I must have looked at a different hotel's review because I read hot breakfast, which certainly was not the case. Toast, frosted flakes, and frozen waffles do not make breakfast for me. I went a few miles up the road to a bagel place instead. The room was clean, although the sheets had tiny black dot stains on them and the pillows were pretty flat. The bathroom floor had bootprints on it and some hair in the corner. The front desk staff members were very friendly and polite. No problems with any of the people. The pool was tiny and always full of small children. We did not go see the hot tub. It was okay for a single night inexpensive stay.

Bugs in the room

Posted May 25, 2015
Rude staff, ants in my bathroom and bed. The whole building smelled awful. Mold on the wall. There was a rooster crowing outside all morning that the staff was feeding
