Our RIchland, Ms stay

Pros: Quiet, clean, and peaceful
Cons: The breakfast set up.It was large, clear dispensers that held the cereal.I was worried that it doesn't get eaten up frequently enough to stay fresh.
Location: See above statement.
The hotel was older, but it was clean and comfortable. I slept very well on the mattress. I had a peaceful and quiet sleep. The towels were fresh, the beds were fresh, and the room smelled clean. The only thing I wish others would post about this place is the location. Of all the reviews that I read, no one ever mentioned that this is not the best place in town. We learned after the fact from the locals to be careful coming and going from the car as business women. I wasn't scared or uncomfortable (I am from New Orleans), but I could see where others might be a little on edge. I would definitely stay there again-without a doubt though.

Needs deep cleaning

I hope it was just my room but the floors needed some serious deep cleaning. As soon as we got in my 8 month old want to crawl and stretch. We'll after a short while I noticed her feet knees and hands were dark. Black was what they were!! The distinct the floor was rubbing into my LO hand feet and knees from crawling and walk. It's gross and needs to be steam cleaned or something.

Disappointing for a Super 8

Pros: Nothing! We did not stay the night.
I have always had good Super 8's to stay at but this one is an exception. It looks unkept when you drive up. The reception area is far from being comfortable. When you walk in the room your staying the room smells from an overdose of air-refreshing that you wonder what is being covered up. The bathtub might be clean, but it sure does not look like it. The screws that attach the security bolt lock to the door frame were very loose leaving the room unsecure.

In town for a wedding

Pros: The price.
Cons: See above.
Location: Well located as far as distance to Jackson area, however it is placed in a poor spot on Highway 49. (see above)
While the hotel was adequate considering the pricing, it was far from nice or well kept. There were flat screen TVs, but they were out of order and big, chunky TVs were taking up dresser space in front of the flat screens. There were no alarm or clocks at all in the room. The bathroom door had a huge hole in it. The towels appeared stained, and there weren't even fitted sheets on the beds. Most of the cleaning staff didn't speak English well therefore couldn't understand questions and requests I had when speaking to them. You must U-turn on a very busy highway in order to get to the hotel from Jackson, and leaving is a nightmare if you want to go south.

You Get What You Pay For

Pros: Location. The staff. The person who checked us in was very friendly and even gave us a discount on a second room.
Cons: The room we had could use a good cleaning/upgrade. It was in poor shape. My mom's room had been remodeled and was excellent.
Location: Location is great. It is right off Hwy 49 South and there are plenty of places to eat within walking distances and there was also a Wal-Green's close
We were on our way to Destin and stayed here because it was cheap and we only needed a place to sleep for the night. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling in the shower. The sheets were clean, but I think the room could have used a good overall cleaning, wiping things down and steam cleaning the carpets. The air conditioning worked and the water was hot. If you are looking for a cheap place to stay temporarily then this place is will do.

very unclean hotel room. the area is also very unappealing. continental breakfast was also not fresh with pre-wrapped food. i'm in the military and have stayed in way worse places, however, for the amount i paid for this room, $10 more could have gotten me a room in a much better hotel.

This hotel was disgusting. The sheets were not changed, there were nasty hairs all over the sheets, there was hair all over the bathroom floor, it was seriously the most disgusting thing I've ever seen. I have never been so sick to my stomach in my life. I would NEVER recommend the hotel. They closed breakfast early, they didn't refill the breakfast after a large group went through. The employee was rude.

Good Room -Poor Breakfast

The quickstart breakfast only had two dry sugary cereals. The coffee was weak and they ran out of muffins. That was all they had --there was no fruit or oatmeal.
