Staff need training

Pros: Clean, quiet, breakfast.
Cons: Staff training
Hotel was quiet and clean which was excellent. Night clerk who checked us in quickly was awesome. The room was quiet and very clean and continental breakfast was a huge bonus. Yes, I would recommend this hotel. What was disappointing was the loud arguing of the staff over scheduling at the front desk while guests were trying to eat breakfast. Very unprofessional and irritating that this unnecessary and rude discussion could not have taken place in a managers office. Staff and management need training in regards to the treatment of their guests. This was the morning of April 9th,2018

Reasonable for the price

The staff was very polite but very pushy. Car parking was very limited and awkward to access. Places that should have been cleaned regularly were not (ie under bed, corners etc. There were limited number of outlets for devices that need to be charged daily.

Lower price compared with the other hotels nearby

Pros: free shuttle bus to the airport
Cons: Room cleanliness. The first room i stayed smelled bad...and the light next to the bed was not working
I booked for 2 nights but not consecutively. I had informed the hotel before that we would like to leave our luggage in the hotel after the first day checking out and would come back the next day. At first, the staff told us that we could leave the luggage there. At the end when we checked out, another staff told us that we could only leave a max of two pieces of luggage in the hotel even though we had 4 people. Eventually we have to carry one small luggage with us to travel to other city. The room we stayed in the first night on the 2nd floor was not good, with bad smell and broken bed light. The room on 4th floor we stayed in the second day was much better.

Pros: Staff were friendly and rooms were clean and client
Cons: The breakfast atrium overhead needs a good cleaning and the landscaping out the window needs some cleanup.
Disappointed that the airport shuttle only runs until 11:00 pm. Taxi was efficient but added cost.

Convenient hotel but old and run down

Pros: See above. Parking was located under the hotel which was good.
Cons: See above
Location: The Richmond shopping centre is two blocks from the hotel. Also we went to Steveston for seafood, and it was only 10minutes drive from the hotel.
The room was obviously a former smoking room. When we complained about the smell in the room we were informed that the cleaning products they used had a scent, which they said caused the smell. As well we were in a room on the corridor, and there were loud guests with children who we could hear shouting to one another, which came right thru wall. Also, the carpets in the hallway were worn and stained. The room had new carpet, and was very clean, and the bathroom had great towels, and amenities. The staff was very accommodating, and it was convenient to get to the ferry terminal which was why we chose it. I think a 4.2rating is very high on the Expedia listing. I’d rate it a 3.5.

Breakfast has more items will be good. Bed is not comfortable. Renovations for the hotel is needed.

Good location

Pros: Free parking, good location.
Cons: Hotel wifi should be secured. Breakfast can use a bit of a protein.
Location: Richmond centre for shopping. 10 min walk to sky train. Lots of options for food
Good location, 10 min walk to Canada line sky train. Lots of food options near by, as well as Richmond Centre for shopping. Breakfast can use a little improvement such as provide some simple protein (hard boil eggs, etc)

Located about 10 minutes from Vancouver International Airport in a nice area of Richmond.
