We got to the hotel at 1am. We were so tired from our 6.5 hour drive that we just crashed. When we woke up the next morning we found pubic hairs on the comforter, food and debris in and on the comforter, pubic hair in the shower and on the bathroom floor, a HUGE stain on the comforter, and our dog found an empty pill casing. We called Expedia to get a refund. They communicated with hotel and they refused to refund us for the few hours we were there. At one point we had a knock at the door. It was a nice lady and she asked us if we were checking out early. As I was answering her a man (I’m assuming the owner or manager) walked by and told her to give us excellent service. She asked me again if we were checkout early and I said yes. I asked the man if he wanted to come in or look at my pictures. He just ignored me. When he walked by again I had my phone out to show him the pics. He just kinda mumbled and walked off. We went to check out and I stopped at front desk for a copy of our receipt. The lady at the front desk was so nice!! I asked to speak to the man And she tried to get him to talk to me but he refused. I was confused bc I was extremely nice and I just was trying to get a refund. I chalked it up as a lost cause and we left. Not one person said sorry. Not one person tried to make it right.
