Customer service just OK

Hotel was clean, location was great, food was excellent. Hotel staff were very friendly, however, one of the reasons we chose this hotel was the shuttle service. When we asked for shuttle service, we were not able to get it because one of the driver was out sick that day due to a death in the family. My condolences, however, get somebody to cover for this employee. We had to drive ourselves to our event and pay parking in order to made it to our event in time. If you want to use the shuttle, let them know WAY ahead of time. Also, I wanted to extend my stay for another night when I checked in but was told I would have to do so the next morning by making a brand new reservation. What?? Lastly, we were not offered breakfast with our stay, which apparently is not the norm because when we went to breakfast, they asked for our coupon. When we said we weren't provided with one, they looked dumbfounded. Overall, a nice hotel, but I feel cheated by the lack of amenities offered for the price paid.
