The hotel altho under construction was absolutely awesome. It was clean, roomy, and convenient. The price was also awesome. I will definitely come back

Lovely view of the river

Beautiful view of the James river. The bed was comfortable. Best pillows I've ever gotten in a hotel. The shower pressure was great. The staff was pleasant. Issues: marble tile in bathroom very slick when wet; 3 outlets didn't function; no menu for cable channels; pool handrails loose; clerk couldn't adjust my bill to include discount after check-in.

Too many problems

First the AC was broken. It eventually got fixed in the room, but was a disruption. The ethernet cable didn't work and the TV channels listed were nowhere close to what was actually on the TV. A part in the fridge broke off. Cream for the coffee was curdled. The towel bar in the bathroom broke off. They claimed I had a queen size bed, but I'm pretty sure it was a double.

Disappointing stay

Room was small and uncomfortable. AC didn't really work. The lower level of hotel had a musty smell. The beds were uncomfortable with cheap pillows.
