Loved It!

When I first got there the lady at the desk was on the phone with a customer but she immediately helped, I booked a standard room through Expedia but they did not offer that room at this location so I basically got a upgrade for the same price! I was definitely happy about this and the room was fine, not too big and extravagant the bathroom was a nice size the tub was huge, if your looking for a 5 star hotel with room service etc this is probably not for you.

DON'T STAY HERE

Pros: ENTRANCE LIGHT WAS BROKEN. PHONE AND RADIO DID NOT WORK. NO SOAP IN ROOM. THERE IS ANOTHER LOCATION ABOUT 3 MILES AWAY. I SUGGEST YOU STAY THERE.
Cons: HAVING SOMEONE MONITORING THE DESK WOULD BE NICE. ALL I SAW FOR MOST OF MY STAY WAS A SIGN THAT SAID "BE BACK SHORTLY". THAT DIDN'T HELP.
IT WAS AWFUL. BECAUSE I COULD NOT GET SUPPLIES I NEEDED WITH NO ONE AT FRONT DESK. ONE THE POSITIVE SIDE, THE BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE

Not for families

Strong marijuana smell as soon as we entered the lobby could be smelled for the entire 3 days we were there even in our room. Had to put a towel under the door- we were traveling with a 1 year old. Room was inadequate. Not enough pillows for the beds, zero extra blankets, mold under sink. Not a single cup, plate, spoon, piece of silverware. Had to ask front desk. "free breakfast" was little Debbie's and 2 coffee carraffes with only fake creamer. Heating unit in our room was loud and clunky but at least we didn't freeze to death. Lots of loud parties all around. Families and decent people alike beware! I must say the staff was friendly though.

Good location

The best thing about this hotel is the location. A couple miles in one direction is the mall and everything else, the other way are places to eat and more shopping. I liked the room itself. At check in..housekeeping was in the middle of taking out trash that probably was sitting around all week because they don't come everyday. If you want that service, there is a charge. Front desk ran out of towels!! They advertise "continental breakfast " when its actually a grab n go breakfast, they ran out of that only a hr or so later...I'd never stay there again.

Nice Room

Pros: This hotel had a nice room layout, like a batchelor apartment and very big. The kitchen was big and would be a great place to stay
Cons: Only stayed one night. Wish we had more time there.
Location: Never had time to explore but the location was nice

The room was small and dirty. Staff was no where to be found, breakfast was bars of granola. Would never come back.

Very inconvenienced.

The room was not ready that was reserved for us upon our arrival at 6pm and no staff were available to clean. Had to wait 15 minutes to determine if another room would be available. We were given another room, dropped our stuff off and left for a friend's house. We came back around 10:15. My daughter needed to get in bed. However, the sofa bed would not pull out, as the tracking was broken. I called the front desk. The clerk came upstairs and tried to get the sofa bed to work. He was polite and apologetic for everything, but he shouldn't have had to apologize for everything. None of this should have happened. There was dirt spilled all over the elevator floor. The clerk tried to kick the dirt to spread it around and make it look "cleaner" and apologized that housekeeping was now gone for the day and couldn't be there to clean that up. The room was supposed to have slept 4 people, but no linens were provided for the sofa bed. We had to wait another 15 minutes for yet another room to become available and had to pack up our stuff to move to another room. Also, only 2 sets of towels were available for a room for 4. No coffee makers are in the rooms, and only provided 1 small bottle of courtesy shampoo. The overall experience was very poor. I asked for compensation and was denied. Expedia should not recommend this hotel at all. I wish I could be reimbursed for this stay.

Ok but i am not staying here again

Pros: Spacious rooms,Breakfast included Cons: rooms are dark(insufficient light),one of the bed side lamps was broken, we reported it thrice,was not addressed. Shower does not work(again reported multiple times and not addressed). No fruits in break fast spread. Cramped bathroom

Awful. And very uncomfortable

I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all. It's out dated and wifi doesn't work. Staff is never at desk. I handle a lot of client that travel in and out of Richmond and will make sure this hotel is off their radar.
