Love the remotenessPosted Mar 19, 2018
Pros: The quietness of it
This hotel is outside the busy city, which makes for a very peaceful night's sleep. We only slept there, but the beds were comfy and our kids slept great. The bath and bodyworks shampoo and conditioner are awesome. Breakfast was really good and a huge selection. My kids loved the peach citrus drink. Hard boiled eggs were cooked to perfection! We even needed ice in a bag due to my three year old getting her fingers caught in the elevator door, but they were super fast at it and the swelling went down very quickly. We will stay here again for sure.

Richmond BC stayPosted Mar 14, 2018
Good hotel. Room not ready upon arrival though. But management made up for it with gift card after being prodded. No parking in hotel lot if you return late as parking lot is super small

This location is GREAT for families! Lots of fun stuff to do within walking distance. Skating rink, Imax movie theater, Laser tag, Indoor trampoline park, water park, etc.! The pool at the hotel was nice and warm and breakfast was great! Two thumbs up!

Hotel was overbooked despite my reservationPosted Feb 25, 2018
Pros: Absolutely nothing.
Cons: For the staff to take Hotel management training!
This never happened to me in all my travels. I got to the hotel and despite having a reservation which was paid for, I was told that they had no room for me. They informed me that the hotel was overbooked and no room was available. They shipped me across town at another Holiday Inn. It took forever to sort this out. I did not get to my hotel room until after midnight. The entire process was extremely upsetting. I asked the 2 inexperienced front staff to speak with the hotel manager. I was told that the hotel manager would not speak with me. I left my phone number, my name, and my email address to the hotel manager to contact me. She never did. This hotel and the staff have no clue about customer relationship. At the very least, the hotel manager should have the decency to speak with me and apologize herself for the inconvenience I encountered that night. You would think that Holiday Inn would have better trained hotel manager. This gives a really bad name to Holiday Inn.

nothing to complainPosted Feb 25, 2018
Pros: quality room and hotel environment
Cons: I wish their breakfast is as good as another Holiday Inn in probably Vancouver
This one is OK but I like another Holiday Inn probably in Vancouver with underground parking better as the other one has a better breakfast than this Richmond one. Holiday Inn is 50 bucks more expensive than other close by hotels like sandman and Abercorn so its room condition is a lot better too.

Lovely hotel close to shoppingPosted Feb 23, 2018
Pros: I loved the pool area a lot. I liked that they had turkey sausages. There was also 3 large sized elevators.
Cons: The breakfast room was cramped with heavy and cumbersome furniture. Also the hot food should be hot including their signature cinnamon buns.
Location: This hotel was near a huge shopping center. There is a movie theater and The spaghetti Factory, yum. It is close to the US border and ferries.
My family and I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The lobby was very nicely decorated. The staff very helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel has a fitness center and a pool with a hot tub, which we made use of. The breakfast looked nice. I was very happy to see turkey sausages, but I found that the hot items were not always hot. This hotel is located at the edge of shopping center, which was a bonus. It also had good access to the highway.

Everything was great except the heating !!Posted Feb 20, 2018
Pros: As usual, the hotel facilities were clean and the breakfast was generous.
Cons: The heating system and the windows.
Location: Convenient to YVR and BC Ferry terminal for our purpose.
During a particularly cold period in Richmond, the room heating was essential. However, the windows seemed to be sub-standard for heat retention and the heating system was extremely noisy and woke us up a number of times during the night as it cycled on and off.

Great locationPosted Feb 20, 2018
Pros: I was looking for free breakfast, parking and a jacuzzi + swimming pool and great rate. Not easy to find in Vancouver or Richmond nowdays.
Cons: Overall was all clean an neaty. Jacuzzi could be a bit warmer and oddly the clock on wall was way off.
Location: Like it, is a bit off everthing, but since there is a big cinema and other amenities around, see a lot of people and fun place to be.
Great place to stay. Close to ice rink, watermania, cinema, bowl alley and Steveston community. Also a quick drive to Vancouver downtown or Richmond for more good food and fun.

Airport proximityPosted Feb 20, 2018
We used the hotel for parking while on vacation staying there the night before leaving and the night we returned. Good service. Shuttle to and from airport. Nice breakfast.
