Pleasant hotel convenient to highway

Pros: The service
Cons: Nothing I can think of. The location is sort of in an industrial area, so the views aren't lovely, but that's not anything that can be fixed.
Location: Lots to do in Richmond. We spent the day at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts and went to a wonderful concert in the evening.
Hotel staff were friendly and efficient from the moment we walked in. We needed to drive to an event downtown and the staff kindly gave us a map and verbal directions. We stopped in the bar for a drink and a snack and were impressed with the quality of the hummus and pita we were served. In the morning, we had the breakfast buffet. When the server noticed that we ate very little, without our having said anything she adjusted our bill, charging us for continental breakfast instead of the full buffet.

Functional for VCU graduation

Arrived and checked in smoothly. Later on the bathroom sink overflowed due to slow drainage and the overflow hole not working properly. After placing towels on the floor etc the sink continued to leak from the underside. Front desk staff was very helpful, giving us replacement towels and moving us to a new room.

Hotel staff were very pleasant. The rooms were clean but have not been updated in quite sometime. Excellent location for my meeting the following morning.

Typical Holiday Inn

Cons: Faster WiFi
Needed a place for the night in Richmond. This was convenient. Staff was really nice, hotel was just nice. Really slow wifi. No surprise.

The staff was very helpful and friendly, and the breakfast buffet was very tasty. The room was nice and clean. The only criticism would be that the drain in the shower took a long time to drain.

everything was great except the restaurant and bar was not open for lunch on the weekends did not open until 4 had to go find sonewhere else to eat lunch after checking in
