renovated historical structure in an older neighborhood, quite charming. room was clean, very spacious, mattresses super comfortable. shower was excellent. definitely not for the pampered traveler, nor the one who wants every modern amenity. hotel restaurant does not open every day but plenty of dining choices nearby.

This hotel was so cute. I loved the interior square and grounds. It was very accessible to Broad Street and centrally located within the city. The recommended parking garage was convenient and only $7 a day. It was humid the weekend we were there and unfortunately there was no ceiling fan in the room, which I assume is because it’s such an old building, so it was a little warm. But otherwise, a great stay. Good sized bathroom with good water pressure in the shower, check out was easy, and building access late at night wasn’t a problem. Best part was the sweet lobby cat!

I didn't like the parking situation and the need to walk alone in the dark. I was politely greeted at the desk. I requested & received my wake up call. I left something at the front desk and was able to retrieve it b/c the staff put it aside and reminded me of it when she saw me. Moreover, she personally escorted me to my room.
