Had a great stay. So convenient. Check in was quick and smooth and access to the convention center was terrific. Will definitely stay again.

Very Close to Convention Center

Very friendly and helpful staff from the front desk to the bell staff. There also is a Starbucks located at one of the street-level entrances to the Marriott. When in Richmond, I'll be back!

Marriot; Richmond Convention Center

Unfortunately I was only there for one full day, so I didn't get to see what the neighborhood offered, but from what I saw, I was pleased. If the pool was operational, it would've been better, but the Most High worked it out.

Not a Bargain

Pros: The location, quality and amenities were fine, the buffet breakfast was excellent with a polite and helpful wait staff.
Cons: The size of the room was a bit cramped and parking hard to figure out for a first timer.
Location: Downtown Richmond has ample offerings from business to dining.
Pleasant hotel overall but priced about the high end of its overall value unless you can get the government rate, which would be a true value. Although the room was well kept and had all necessary amenities it was a bit small or cramped. Accessing parking was a bit confusing on arrival. After meeting associate staying at other nearby hotels there was nothing making me feel like I had the better deal. It is a nicely located hotel, clean, comfortable and up to expected Marriott standards.

Everyone was very helpful and polite. The surrounding area isn't anything to walk through alone. However, it is improving. If you go about a mile down the road it gets better.
