Hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment. Carpets are old and dirty near skirting boards. Bath sealeant is coming away from the wall.

Good positionPosted Jun 4, 2014
Pros: It was close to the centre of Richmond and the staff were very friendly and helpful
Cons: Mainly the bathroom and décor
Location: Excellent for the nightlife nearby also close to the river
Was a bit concerned after reading some reviews but problems other people had mentioned did not arise. Although the room was on the small side it had every thing we needed granted the décor of the room and certainly the bathroom could do with an up grade it was clean the room was very quiet we slept very well and the hotel itself was very well placed in the centre of the town for restaurants and bars well worth the money it cost the breakfast was fine though we would have liked the option of a full english

Served its purpose close to centre of RichmondPosted Nov 18, 2013
Don't know what this photo is but it is Not the Richmond Park Hotel! Based on this I assumed there was parking at the hotel but there wasn't so had to pay £16 to park in a carpark. Disappointed that breakfast was continental although it was good for what it was.

Misleading Expedia PhotoPosted Nov 12, 2013
Pros: Continental breakfast
Location: Location good being in the centre of Richmond and by the Thames.
We booked this hotel mainly on the photo shown on the Expedia website. The actual hotel involved 3 flights of stairs to reach the bedroom with no lift. Clearly this is not suitable for the elderly or disabled. Apart from that the facilities are in line with a 2 star hotel.

Alright but expensivePosted Jun 17, 2013
Cons: The bed
Location: Half way between Kew Gardens and Richmond Park
In my opinion, this hotel is over priced. The location is really great - half way between Kew Gardens and Richmond Park. But the bed needed to be replaced, the bathroom was tiny, and the reception area non-existant.

1 Night business stay OK - Holiday base not reallyPosted Oct 19, 2012
Pros: Location, 10/15 minute walk from the train station. Good for local restaurants/bars.
I'm not sure what the picture is of in the advertisement on Expedia. But the hotel looks nothing like that! There's no bar at the hotel, but it is in an excellent location for local bars/restaurants. The hotel itself is quite dated and go only knows which part of the hotel was "recently refurbished". That being said it served its purpose as a one-night stop for business purposes in the place I wanted to be. I didn't take a picture of the hotel, but I did use Google Maps so you can see what the hotel looks like from the outside.
