I've stayed here a number of times over the years and found they have made noticable improvements recently, possibly with anticipation of the eclipse which I'm getting ready to watch right now. The beds are excellent, the towels and bedding are fresh and maintenance responded promptly when a minor adjustment was needed for the toilet seat. They even provided a "survival pack" for eclipse travelers with water and snacks, a very pleasant surprise. I travel to this area fairly often, and plan to keep this as my default stayover location. Totally Recommended.

First thing we noticed was a musty smell when we opened the door. The furniture was dated but comfortable. The TV only worked if you stood right in front of it and pushed hard on the buttons. Kinda make a remote useless. The bathroom door would not close and we had to put something in front of it for privacy. The breakfast was a joke.

The beds we’re comfortable but the length of them not so good are feet hung off the ends as we are taller people the shower head was awful barely come out so it was very hard to take a good shower overall the room was clean but very outdated. Also when we booked the room we picked to pay at property upon arrival the money was taken out of are account before we arrived at property.

We appreciated that there was a room large enough to accommodate our family of 6. We did not get bed bugs. We slept safely, with our vehicle also remaining safe. It was quiet through the night. It was moldy and damp, the floors very unclean. It was difficult to know if the sheets were dirty or just damp from the humidity in the air. The toilet was clean. The shower had splatters of brown and quite a bit of grime built up. It had been patched many times. The towels were probably just old and stained, but with the state of the shower and floors, it did not leave us confident in their state of cleanliness. Late check in was easy. Check out was also easy. We would prefer to never stay there again.

Needs to be updated. Old and rundown. Beds uncomfortable and room was cold. Staff did put extra space heaters in room which was nice but still didn’t get warm. Did allow dog which is why we stayed. Overall would not recommend.

The carpet in the room was filthy. The metal strip separating the bathroom and carpet was bent and exposed which could injure someone. The room smelled like baby powder and it was overwhelming. When leaving the property there was a large pot hole in the parking lot and i got a flat tire

This was what I wanted: a clean, comfortable, inexpensive room right off HWY 70 in a safe area. wish list: more TV channels, a box of Kleenex and a heavy blanket available.
