Pros: Front Desk staff very helpful.
Cons: It is what it is. Stayed for four weeks, no issues.
Location: Research location before driving, GPS can be a bit confusing. Excellent location to visit site in area. Colonial Heights has shopping, Target, etc.
Overall very good, access is a bit difficult unless you have some time to work out the route.

Don't stay here.Posted Aug 10, 2015
We stayed at 7 different hotels on our vacation and this was by far the worst. We arrived at night and upon arriving I exited my car a began being hustled by some people across the street for cigarettes and money. I was trying to get my family into the hotel because it felt very unsafe only to find the door was locked and you had to be buzzed in. The check in clerk was very nice but when entering the room we smelled smoke that had been covered up with air freshener. This was a nonsmoking room. When traveling with my daughter I am very specific about this because she has asthma. She was so uncomfortable all night but it was too late to find other accommodations. The next morning I realized what the problem was. The housekeeper was in and out of the "Non smoking room" with a cigarette hanging out of her mouth. The room was very grungy and old. Will never stay here again.

OK for the pricePosted May 26, 2015
Cons: Better beds
Location: Petersburg seems like a depressed area with potential to be something more. Civil War history and the river offer potential interest.
Room was OK. Nothing special but trouble getting door key to work. It never really did. Bed was uncomfortable and breakfast was one cinnamon roll, coffee or machine juice. Staff did what was needed and was friendly. Hotel was cheap and OK for a brief stopover.

Shady place to stay...Posted Apr 28, 2015 on Hotels
Shady place to stay. Not in a good neighborhood. Had to be buzzed in and out. While checking in another customer came back down from checking the his room and said he wanted a refund because of bed bugs! Luckily I had furniture moving pads so I laid them over the top of our bed!

It served its purpose (barely)Posted Mar 10, 2015 on Hotels
This room was used for a quick sleep on a long road trip. In that regard it served its purpose. It took 35 minutes to check in with me being the only one there; the halls were extremely dimly lit; the only way in the building was thru the front door and you had to be buzzed in; the TV was very dark and the manager woke me up way before check out time to see if I was going to be out on time.

Not too bad for a night's stayPosted Oct 30, 2014 on Hotels
It was ok but I wasn't expecting too much anyway so I was satisfied. I didn't really need to have too much interaction with the staff but they were helpful when I needed them. Neighborhood not the best but the hotel felt pretty safe.

It suited my purpose. What was advertised was what I received.
